Konoetan said: W-wow Osomatsu, just wow. Those are some scary sales. RIP Rakudai :c Wanted a S2. ..but it doesn't seem that likely now. Rakudai is selling enough for Silver Link to profit, that's all they are concerned about in terms of their willingness to produce another season. Whether or not a Season 2 happens isn't up to them or the disc sales at this point, it is up to the LN publisher and whether or not they think they'll get another sales boost from a second season. |

For once, Japan is pumping the money into a good franchise. Guess this means we will see a lot of of the Matsunos in the future, great! Sad to see that OPM is selling rather poorly, though. Especially when a boring show like Overlord outclasses it in the sales. |

Well props to Osomatsu-san. The comedy there doesn't really pull me in, but doesn't mean I'm not happy for those who enjoyed it. Good for Overlord continuing to do well, Symphogear hanging out fine in the 8k range, and nice to see Rakudai stay above the sales cutoff this time XD. |

I watched 1st episode of Osomatsu-san to see what people like about it and it was pure garbage. Only attack on titan parody part was ok I dropped 2nd episode after 6 min. The anime is horrible , comedy is 1/10. I would be completely surprised if anyone find this anime funny. I rather watch something like prison school. Thats how comedy is supposed to be. |

Kill it Osomatsu! OPM doing good as well. It should reach 10k or really close to it in a couple weeks. Nidhoeggr said: Sad to see that OPM is selling rather poorly, though. Especially when a boring show like Overlord outclasses it in the sales. 8.5k is not selling 'poorly' by any means. The manga also saw a large boost, so I'd say it's doing just fine. |

Might be less than Owarimonogatari S1 but I expect it will at least be 10K, hopefully at least 20K. Not solicited yet as I think they want to keep people focused on Owarimonogatari discs for purchases right now. Also they don't want to reveal yet...... Winter 2016 looks like shit already, not sure anything can sell above 10k, or even 6k. The likely Kagenui and Gaen OPs for the last two episodes. In rare cases they hold or even go up but big publishers with lots of other books to promote may well choose to make anime for another franchise rather than risk a season 2 which is 5K instead of 10K and which does little or nothing to boost the novel sales a second time. And for the umpteenth time, Madhouse or Silver Link have nothing to do with it. Look at the production committee, especially the publisher in these cases. The animation studio will probably animate another season of any show if the committee decides to make one and asks them to animate it again. They get paid well pretty much regardless of how the discs sell. |

Jojo's seems to be in the "normal" case, so is better for people only expect 4 seasons of the series, this means next season and 1 more after that. |
