| I (almost) always watch the OP and ED. The OP is important to set the mood at the start (Elfen Lied, Madoka). The ED is important to seal-the-deal by either lightening the mood (Elfen Lied) or driving things farther (Madoka). * Elfen Lied and Madoka are used as examples because they are opposites in terms of mood setting and closing, and both fit their series very nicely. The only time I don't watch the OP/ED is when they totally suck and the series is super long... I saved about 1:30 x 2 x 110 (that maths out to 5.5 hours!) amount of time watching Legend of the Galactic Heroes. |

| Obviously if they're good, I won't skip it but even if I do like the ED i'll tend to just move on to the next episode. If it's okay, I'll watch it on the first and last episode and if it's terrible |

| I nearly always watch OPs and EDs since I tend to enjoy most of them and the OPs are often good ways to get in the mood for a show. However even the ones I don't like so much I'll often watch out of habit. :P |

| I generally like openings even though most tend to be your stereotypical J-Pop stuff. For whatever reason, I don't like skipping openings even if I don't like them... I don't even know why, I guess it just feels like an incomplete viewing. Still, there's nothing like a good opening that gets you excited for a show each and every time you watch it. |

| Most of the time I watch anime OPs, because I usually like the music and it helps get me in the mood for the show. Even when I'm marathoning it helps to create a little separation between the winding up and winding down of each episode. |

| I pretty much always watch both the opening and ending. Not only do they get you in the mood for the anime, but I've noticed that I usually really start to like a song after listening to it a couple of times. I only really start to skip them if I'm watching a lot of episodes in one sitting, and I don't often do that. |

If I don't click on the right second where the actual episode starts and see something interesting - like a maybe-spoiler, I might consider watching the opening. And I surely never watch for the soundtracks. Whenever I decide to watch anime, then I truly want to watch something, see somebodies story. Watching the opening doesn't do me any good there. In some you can see characters which weren't introduced yet or spoiler about pairings which will end up togehter and I don't mind spoiler but I don't think they bring me any enjoyment either. |

| When I'm marathoning a huge series I tend to skip the openings after the episode I start at just to save time. There are however some opening that I can't help but watch every time I see em, such as the third Nisemonogatari opening or the Kiznaiver opening. God Kiznaiver's opening was gold. |

| I skip 9/10 anime openings. There are generic songs like the opening to Hatsukoi Monster (loved the anime but the opening's just bland) that deserve to get skipped, I'm sorry. They're everywhere. |

| Never skip them, personally. It always feels like I'm missing out on something the show has to offer and all. Same with EDs. Also, a great OP can make the act of watching a show infinitely more enjoyable to me. I'm watching Evangelion right now. I don't like it, but I love the OP for it so much that it gets me kind of excited to see what happens. It's like a build up or some kind of hype or something, and a great OP can really add a lot to the experience for me. Makes it all the more memorable. |

| I often do a couple times at least. If it's good enough I'll watch it pretty often even when marathoning long runners. I find myself less likely to pay attention to EDs, though, for whatever reason; I usually still listen to them, but I don't actively watch them as much unless the visuals are pretty fantastic or there's something unique about them (e.g. Angel Beats!). |
