| Meh, I don't really care for Blackstar...though I highly doubt he has been defeated for good. This episode was so weird for me, because I was just thinking about Excalibur in the last episode, wonder what ever happened to him. And boom, he shows up! XD |

| Nice episode. I wish we could have seen more of Soul though... when Excalibur showed up for a moment I thought "Oh no, another wasted episode" thankfully they cut his presence to minimum xD As for Black Star... I'm sure it's not the end of him. [even though it would be better if it was] |

| Yeah agree with some others, Excalibur was, tolerable. I didn't feel like punching the screen when he was on the screen. Dang there are a lot of Black Star haters, I agree that it would be a fitting end for him but probably won't be. Still though he's not that bad of a character, he's really grown on me. Maybe I'm attracted to his relentless desire to get stronger and his incredible motivation to improve himself. Time to see what happens next! |
| I don't think Black Star is dead yet if he was who will defeat Mifune? I like Mifune; but sadly he's on the bad side so.. I don't want Black Star to die even though he's an annoying little brat. Excalibur's entrance was just...so uncool, and I thought all he said was a lie, so yea I was thinking the same as Kid.. |
| If black star dies i'll mainly be annoyed as it means no more Tsubaki >.> Still if Kid wasn't right and the DWMA weren't really hiding anything then thats an amazing potienal twist ruined. Some semi-evil intent in there couldn't have hurt XD |

| My biggest character pet peave has to be cocky kids (e.g. Kintaro from Otogi Zoshi, or the one from Spriggan, can't remember his name). Blackstar is the worse character in the series. I don't want him to die, though, because then I'd feel bad for Tsubaki. I would doubt his deadness though. Excalibur!!! Excalibur!!! |
| Mifune is one BAMF!!!! Is Arachne f**king the Kishin? She hasn't gotten out of bed with him since they brought him to Baba Yaga's castle! I could really do without Excalibur right now. |

Yeah the majority of the better battles are when Black Star is involved. And no, i highly doubt he's "done for". Now with that preview i hope we get to see Shinigami fight again, Shinigami vs Asura! | BAKA!~ Damn I just love Excalibur xD especially now he's being serious! The episode was damn good really nice development especially the fight was nice and to have a little backstory on Black Star's father was also quite interesting! The ending though was a bit shocking! Is black star really dead or was it just a paper cut :p Good ending with a great cliffhanger I really wonder what's in that box now! |

| Holy shit. Worst fight from Black Star by far. What is he doing? Just rushing forward with no tactic or plan whatsoever is pointless. Those stand offs are so boring to watch too. Gah. This show is dropping in quality. "I'm going to beat God himself" - Black Star PS. I bet anything that he won't die from this. The show is way to kid friendly for that to happen. |

| Are they seriously implying Excalibur is one of Death's eight guardians? I knew he was a bundle of obnoxiously epic delight. Questions are being answered and the climax is fast approaching. Man, I've really had a love/hate for Black Star throughout the show. On one hand he's been a hilarious guy who aims big, but his blind lust for power really did him in this time around. I can't help but root for Mifune, he's always chill plus who will protect Angela? |

| I really don't get all the hate for Black Star. He's really funny, in fact. People get triggered too easily. Same thing goes with Excalibur. He's annoying? OF COURSE he is. He is SUPPOSED to be annoying. That's the joke. LOLed at Shinigami-sama, Spirit and Azusa ignoring him. |

| Black Star VS Mifune fight in this episode could've been better if it got more screen time and if they both actually clashed more than they talk such as their second fight together. White Star used to fight against Mifune? How old exactly is Mifune? Anyway, White Star's ambition to defeat Mifune lead him taking a demonic path, made Mifune kill him. So he basically wants to keep people from ultimately turning inhuman and becoming a kishin despite pretty much working for the kishin. (Even though it's to protect Angela) He has no rights to tell Black Star what to do if Black Star lost against Mifune which he did so be it. Besides, Soul Eater is not the kind of show that kills away from the main characters. Freaking compressed madness laser nuke beam! That thing is insanely powerful! |

| Lol Mifune just realized Black Star is the same clan as his former foe despite seeing Black Star has a star tatoo on his shoulder. Maybe he's just a little bit smarter than Black Star. For the first time, Excalibur being serious. He could be a great ally to this war. I think he's on a higher level than Death Scythe. |

| Black Star continued to go down the exact same path his father did without realizing what his obsession towards winning may lead to and Mifune ended up dropping his principle of holding back towards children entirely and pretty much killed him... |

| Excalibur! The fight was nice but Mosquito blowing things up felt a bit out of place in this episode. |
| I feel like this might be a dub-exclusive thing, but BlackStar's voice and monologues are really difficult to sit through sometimes |
