They didn't change or shorten anything. They just upscaled the manga panels, added water colors and censored the blood. |

| I'd like to reiterate that Pupa doesn't suck because of censoring or the length. The first 4 minute episode covered the entire first chapter of the manga. That's how shallow it is. The manga sucks. It isn't Deens fault the manga has no content other than gore porn. |

Except for cutting out the prologue, the dialogue in between so the scenes didn't feel so disjointed (though they still are), and the scene with the dad that took up around half the chapter. Yes exactly like the manga nothing cut. This anime is awful but to say that isn't true and to see that comment just bothered me... |

| I was expecting this, but the 5 minute time constraint was and is my biggest turn off. I WANTED something like this. I WANTED something completely out there. The time constraint though... It ruined everything. Just air longer eps made into an OVA, remove the censors, an I'm happy. That's not happening though. |

| The short length doesn't come off as too much of a surprise since many manga published by Comic Earth Star have been adapted into short series like Teekyu or Mangirl. Even if DEEN' staff wanted to make a full-length series they still have to abide to the restrictions set by the production comitee and work with the funds given to them. |

| Having five minute episodes is pretty much like having trailers for each chapter. I'm not sure why they decided to air it when it's only five heavily-censored minutes? Either way, I plan to watch until the end, but. I'm disappointed in the studio for how they decided to approach this. Hopefully they have good reasons for it though. |
