| The beginning scene was hilarious xD It was cute the father reaction when Miuna called him grand-father. I really liked the discussion between Akira and her father, it reminded me of [Huge Clannad : AF spoiler] I didn't expected Kaname to pull out such a douchey move. I mean, I don't think that his intention were bad or mean, but what he did really putted thing to shit. I'm glad that Chisaki confessed. Even if she knew it was leading to nothing, she's now relieved. I expect her relation with Kaname to turn to shit because of what he said. Also, I know that I said it before, but is it me or Chisaki, or more Tsumugu is getting closer to her? When she touched his arm, she had a weird reaction and he interract more with her recently. I wouldn't be surprised if Tsumugu have a crush on her, since how fucked up the love routes are xD I really like how unpredictable the realtionship are. |

| Daisy chain of unrequited loves confirmed. Not only that, but it may go full circle as well (if my suspicions about who Tsumugu's female love interest is correct), just like this episode and episode 1. Kaname lit the fuse of this chain of unrequited loves, falling on his own sword as a consequence. Despite trying to force things around it seems everyone is still staying their own courses, though. None of the confessions produced a couple from their circle of friends. Manaka, your friends are growing up fast. |
| Sayu and Miuna are trained well against a pervert. Loved this episode. Hikari actually took Chisaki's confession pretty maturely. Instead of running after Manaka, he understood how much energy it took Chisaki to say her confession, and stayed by her (as friends), while realizing that both him and Chisaki are in the same position. He's become a lot mature than the first episode. I think Hikari might be one of my favorite male characters for this series. I feel like Kaname is holding way too much in. He comes off as cool, but in this episode, we can see that he might be at his breaking point. I think finally, in this episode, each character knows what the other characters feel about them now (The people in the sea, not the surface). It'll be interesting to see how everything resolves now. I also really enjoy Hikari's father. Instead of playing barely a role, or being a wise father that is always right, like shown in a lot of anime, he seems a lot more realistic. His father is intelligent, no doubt, but he's having a lot of trouble and conflicts of his own. As a man who wants to stay with his culture, he also loves his own kids; not to mention, he is also the head priest. Because of this, a lot of the decisions he has to pick are very hard on him. |

Damn, if it wasn't for the ntr and shit, I would've probably liked Tsumugu. I don't even dislike his personality, but this damn Manaka made me really dislike him. SIGH. Kaname himself said this, that Tsumugu always appear at the worst/best timing. -.- |

| Might be the only one i guess that thinks this but i think this convoluted love circle doesn't do the plot any justice. It's gone in so many directions I've already decided I really don't care who ends up with who anymore, but this plot keeps making me want to watch more. |

| I've been wondering...are Manaka, Hikari, Kaname and Chisaki the only four children from the sea attending sch? Where are the other kids? My dislike for Chisaki has intensified - she's not honest with herself and she's too fickle-minded! She's one to talk when she called Kaname horrible since what happened was messier than it was supposed to be cos she kept procrastinating on her confession to Hikari. Kinda sad that the group of friends is broken after they made their feelings known to each other. Such a waste cos they were all so close and tight-knit. |

| Kaname is by far the most likable character in the series, he's saying the things that need to be said but not always at the best times (but that in itself is a perk). I'd understand Manaka's hesitation to accept Hikari's feelings for a little while, but running into the arms of another guy (Tsumugu) isn't really any different is it? |

| I really liked Chisaki and Hikari's growth at the end. I feel like Manaka is running away from her problems again, and Kaname pulled something pretty immature. Loved all this drama though. Can't wait for the next ep! |
| After viewing and reviewing I still can't completely understand why Kaname did that. Sure he could be pissed or something else, but throwing that "bomb" at that time wouldn't be the best thing. Still, he is a kid, and with all the stuff that is happening... |

But everything considered I still love Hikari the best.. whatever he does is what a true man does. Forget about everything.. I still just want Hikari to find happiness that's all. Looks liek everyone has confessed but no one knows what to do. everone is ignoring the person who confessed. I didn't expect Hikari to stop for Chisaki. I thought he would just continue to run after Manaka. Manaka's mom looks beautiful. She thought of Hikari right before she was caught again by Tsumugu. I don't think it'll end with ManakXTsumugu. I see HikariXMaaka now. Tsumugu has never shown any intrest in any of he girls. DAMN! That moment when she's in the net. What timing! Just like in the beginning of the series. Then the tear close up on Manaka and tehn the ED plays. I FUCKING LOVE THAT ED. Also the ED looks like Manaka sinking don and sleeping since a lot of saltflakes were piling up on her. I thinks thats what it is. |

| Best part was when Akari talked to her Dad in the coffee place. And damn Tsumugu's godly timing, Manaka was just about to go talk to Hii-kun xD I still want the characters to develop more besides of course Hikari, who is developing well. Manaka just cries all the time, Chiisaki is always mad at herself. Kaname is developing beyond just smiling all the time, and we're getting a bit of Tsumugu's backstory about his parents, so at least we're moving in the right direction now. |

| Lol Tsugumu is practically always in the right time. Goddamnit, this love polygon is so hard on me. Why Mari Okada, why?!?! Why is your name always making me salty in every anime I watch about romance. But I do support Tsugumu and Manaka, their relationship felt really heartwarming. While Kaname kind of lonely and has always been there to notice Chisaki's feeling, so I kind of want them together too. As for Hikari, I want Miuna... but that won't happen eh? Mari Okada always ruin all my ships. |

| How everyone feels is getting revealed to the others, the fear of what awaits to them (and Kaname's help) is leading them to do that before it might be too late, they changed over the span of this first half of the series, and more seems to come very, very soon with the time to sleep being inminent. Akari and Hikari's dad really got me in this episode, that flashback to when he "cooked" for them when their mother passed away was both heartwarming and really sad, he definitely went through really bad times back then and I can't forget that, and now he's worried for Akari too, but I'm sure he can see how she has grown up. Fantastic episode, the next one should be incredible. |

| I can't take the melo drama in this anime. I'm not connected with the feels at all. I hate characters like Manaka so much. Worst archetype ever. Only thing that keeps me from dropping the show is the hibernation thing. I wanna know how that plays out. |

Hikari mimicking the teacher was hilarious. Kaname broke the barrier between them and forced Hikari to confess. Manaka ran away saying "I don't understand". Well, I don't understand it either. Sorry for the bad joke. But now everyone knows the true feelings of everyone else. I am curious as to where the drama heads towards next. This episode was packed. Best moment in the episode was Akari and her father's conversation for me. |
| This is some next level spicy teenage drama. Now the cat(fish) is out of the bag/net. Kaname likes Chisaki who likes Hikari who likes Manaka who likes Surface Boy probably. Kaname got the short end of the stick. Talking about short sticks I guess atleast the other brat likes him. I was really hoping atleast one of the characters would be gay for added spice and I thought Kaname fits the role quite nicely because he is so submissive and breedable but he is definitely a powerbottom and a chad. While fish people look like they are dead and dont even know if they wake up at all land people have fancy stuff like heating and winter clothes so Akari definitely made the right choice here. I just cant take this setting serious at all, like the world exists solely of this small fish people village which doesnt even have enough kids to fill a school, the land village and one city? But the drama is next level, addictive. PS: bartender-san wiped a tear during Akaris talk with her dad, sweet |

| How these relationships will end up is anybody's guess. One episode I think Manaka likes Tsumugu, then the next I'll think she likes Hikari. I gotta say though, Hikari has definetly made progress, so I hope he can win something in the end. Chisaki finally confessed, so that's good. I am getting tired of Manaka's reactions to thing though. I'm not really one to talk, but you can't keep running away from everything and expect it to be ok. I get that they are middle schoolers, but still. At the end, we were so close to Manaka finally turning to Hikari for the first time in a while, but of course Tsumugu had to fish her up and ruin it. I kinda thought one of them would fall into hibernation for extra drama, but that'll probably be saved for later episodes. |
