| A really good episode - there are loads of humor, exploration of characters (particularly Ridget but also between Amy and Ledo), their relationship and the world (we know quite a bit about a fleet becoming a "ruin") and also some serious and touching story in a flashback. And we even have most of the characters having some part in the episode, including Chamber! |
| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| amy clinging to ledo because she's scares of ghosts, and ledo protecting and patting her *u* way too cute. and it makes me realize again how much i shipped them :3 it was also adorable how ledo was asking if ghosts are the enemy. i really enjoyed the first half of that episode, but the second half was just average. i didn't really care about ridget's past. or let's say it was rather uninteresting. but still a cute special. |

| Well, it's labeled as 'Specials' now. Except in the synopsis it says 'Episodes 14 and 15,' and it says prequel on the page. Even though it doesn't say sequel on Suisei's main page. And yeah, I'm like 99% sure Chamber died too. Lol, did I watch the wrong last episode? All around not too bad. Could have been better, could have been worse I guess. |

| I was dreading the obligatory fan service episode, so this was a pleasant surprise. Of course Saaya is fan service any time she is on screen... Some great Ledo x Amy moments during the test of courage. I think Ridget was interested in the other fleet captain until she saw that her friend was just as interested and had made the first moves... |

| Since I don't really ship Amy and Ledo, their fanservice was okay for me, but there wasn't much of that anyways :) I just like seeing Ledo again, and how there's no word for ghost in his language. As always, he's not scared of anything so Pinion trying to scare him was fail. I really liked Ridget's childhood story, that was really nice and kind of heartwarming in a way. In the end they didn't really find any treasure, but to Ridget, she found one ^^ and lol when Chamber appeared at the end of Amy's ghost story and scared everyone! |
| Amy and Ledo are so perfect together. I really liked seeing some back-story for Ridget when she was younger. Great ova so far, as usual the music was beautiful. |
| - Chamber appears, even if just for a single line. So it's a mid-season side story. - Abandoned fleet is Fallout. - Go to ghost fleet, don't carry a flashlight. Bravo! - "Don't worry, I'm here!", says Ledo the manly man, without even knowing what's Amy talking about! - Amy too whiny, it's a pain. - Courage test wtf Pinion die pls. - Flashback introduces random one episode characters. - Hey dumbass, if it's so dangerous, why don't you carry a helmet?! - They don't... Have cameras in the future? Seriously? What? - The guy took everything from the ship except the photo of his girlfriend. HO-HO, I wonder how that relationship worked out! - You didn't find any treasure... And what about all this iron? In a friggin' Waterworld, that's gotta count for something, right...? Overall meh episode, though the abandoned ships do add an interesting new aspect to the world. |

| It was... simply put, just okay. I think this series was a series of wasted potential, if it was a 24 episode series instead of a 13 episodes series we could have learnt more about Ledo's previous life and even maybe engineer a return to Ledo's homeland and Ledo's efforts to change the society there. But looks like it's settled that Ledo will never ever go home and stay in Gargantia for the rest of his life. |

| Beautiful background story! Not too long, not too short, both parts of this episode (exploration and flashback). Gargantia via TV could have been way better if they had put all that stuff into two seasons, including this episode (and some similar). But I still love that series with its setting and this episode shows me why. |
| That was surprisingly heartwrenching. Even if all the people on that fleet left and survived, who knows when Ridget will be able to see her friend again, if ever? |

| I was happy to see Chamber again, but the part with the abandonned fleet was a little unexpected... Let me explain, why did Red (Ledo) not use Chamber to detect the forms of life ? He can do it so why not ? Because it's a side story ? :/ 4/5 (Love second part) |
