| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ya, flashbacks are over! This was a tense episode from my perspective. I liked some of the explosive action this episode involving the military in the air and those in the sea. The way that Mahiro is aiming that gun towards Samon was imitating imo. Ya, he's pissed off. I'd be too if I was in his shoes especially regarding Aika. Too bad he didn't pull the trigger. The ending was tense as well, somewhat imo. |

This episode marked me more with Aika in the following, They reminded me again! DAMN! Aika once again never deserved this. She got her life snuffed out suddenly and most likely with no chance of doing much about it. This rings true a lot in terms of the spoiler A very large pity and sadness, especially in the following, http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb480/Yumekichi11/Picture%2038/1353604761227_zps625634a2.jpg For it shows the light and nice side of Aika while her death brings out the sad deep gloomy feelings. The balance and establishment were quite clear in regards to that. The war was quite spectacular in terms of fired projectiles. The tree of Exodus was shown quite well. Samon during the barrel/skeleton part got quite creepy but the SFX where quite surprising and fearing a little. |

It occurs a lot with time paradoxes and universes Higurashi being a series that has that problem. |
| They managed to stretch a two-minute piece of story to a full 20-minute episode. That's remarkable, I say. It was fun to watch regardless, though I'd rather it had turned out to her lost in the abyss, not time-travelling messages... Eh, if we get rid of that twist - which wasn't a twist at all, since it was pretty much predictable and there were hints for it (or the said abyss) all over the place - there's virtually no substance left. So yeah, it was arguably the worst episode thus far. |

| I love the irony in that the fate of the world is in the hands of someone who doesn't even care about it. Mahiro is such a loose cannon, and I really like protagonists who are driven by revenge. It makes things interesting. |
| Damn.Nice twist IMO, i knew something was off, but i didnt expect THIS.So she's literally dead, and speaking with people in future.I feel bad for her. Anyway, Yoshino seems to disagree with Mahiro, and! next episode he will tell Mahiro that he's Aika's bf! can't wait to see Mahiro's reaction. That Aika in blood...i agree with Mahiro on one thing.Guy/girl who did it to Aika, deserves punishment like nothing else. 5/5 im hella excited about next episode now. |

| That was an incredible episode and at least paints the picture well that the Tree of Exodus and Tree of Genesis business isnt that black and white especially since the clan has been debating it for awhile. My face when Hakaze reacted to the time traveling was one of joy. It was her face expression she made at that moment combined with knocking the barrel over and taking a few steps. What even. There is no way she could actually help Mahiro with whom killed Aika and worst, if she is two years in the past, then I wonder how she died, assuming no magical genjutsu is involved. Yoshino needs to get to thinking and stuff so he can actually help Mahiro, it was kind of sad when he was there starting to really nearly throw in the towel since he was thinking there was nothing he could say to Mahiro. Mahiro lines were good too especially while with the gun and his whole classic literature quote there. |

| Great episode. Mahiro and Yoshino finally meet Samon. Hakaze is '2 years in the past'. Awesome twist. I'm seriously loving the OST, god damn. Hakaze's 'wtf' face is crazy. I liked how it started raining heavily and thunderstorms kicked in when she realised she was in the 'past'. Next episode is gonna be another intense one, can't wait! |

| welp, that makes it that our female cast's mortality count is at 1 This was a pretty intriguing ep if a bit dull at first, next ep looks like its going to be the best ep yet since it looks like its resolvign alot of things that have been built up to, specifically oh my god yes the mahiro vs yoshino fight is finally going to happen. |

| So its like this: Samon put Hakaze into a barrel Samon time traveled and went back 2 years ago with the barrel Samon dropped the princess in the island Samon time traveled and go to his own timeline Samon went to the Island and recovered Hakaze's bones Meanwhile, Mahiro received the Hakaze's talismans and walkie talkie 2 years after "Samon time traveled and went back 2 years ago with the barrel" And then Mahiro was communicating with the Hakaze of the present but was put in the past thus making the Hakaze of the present dead because she couldn't survive 2 years in the island. IS THIS IT? IS THIS THE STORY? |
| Dat somewhat predictable twist. Amazing how little actually happened in the 20 minute episode lol, time flew by while watching it. Next weeks going to be good, looks like there will be a big reveal! :D |
