| 3d anime, why haven't i though of that :) Yuno having an affair with the college girl in the second part, i like her dress, it suites her well. The ending credit also change a bit. An usual Hidamari Sketch episode, which means a good one. Btw, anyone try using the glasses with Miyako's drawing and the following eyecatch ? |
| I like those small changes in OP - especially this one and I may say... at last :P Yuno was even more adorable than she usually is (also her parents... I mean father). And it was cute to see her on a not-date. Miyako... not as much time of my fav girl but once more she proves she's most talented (but it's good that Yuno's cover won). |

I think it's just a small mistake that will be fixed in BD release, and, this season has the best artworks/animation and quality of all 4 Hidamari season, so don't be that picky. Just enjoy the show. And, you should appreciate Shaft for animating Hidamari this season, NOT that kind of attitude. Overall you didn't even buy their products, it's free for you to watch through fansub. You shouldn't ask for more than what you've already had. Would you be happy if Hidamari series was animated by other animation studio beside Shaft? Maybe they could fix that small mistake, but they would ruin the whole Hidamari feelings which Shaft gave us from the beginning. And, there's no guarantee that they would keep up with the quality in animation, because as you can see, Shaft is one of the best animation studio in Japan. So I don't see anything legit in your complaint. (Other studio also has flaws in their works, like A-1, P.A Works, J.C Staffs, and so on) Anyway, wonderful episode, we got to see Arisawa senpai, now I'm just waiting for Sae's sister xD |

I'm just pointing out something that seems to happen a lot just in this season and which seems like something any animator could have pointed out and corrected in no time, it's just a matter of repositioning layers. If it happened just a small couple of times I wouldn't really mind, but those kind of mistakes seem to be quite frequent now — and they're made just by negligence. Don't get so worked up about SHAFT in general, I concur that HS wouldn't be the same at all without them. |
| ^ I love Shaft but sometimes their off-model drawing annoyed me a little bit. Are they so busy that there's no time to check these oblivious mistake. Well it's no big deal anyway, i'm still enjoying this season a lot. |

It's not them fucking up ... it's a style choice. They have the full chibi bits that they do in HS and then every now and then they go 'semi-chibi' like here. |

| Yesterday in the ep 6 forum I mentioned how I spotted a big change (at least for me it was big) in one of the scenes, from the original release and the DVD release that came out last month (a complete change of relative character locations that corrected a perspective problem). In this episode I spotted a lot of extra "stuff" added, particularly in the scene were Yuno and Arisawa are in the restaurant chatting. And then there were sparkles around Miyako as she at the pie Yuno brought home. I never noticed much, if anything, different from the prior seasons, at least in the DVD versions I have... |
