| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Seric died, Deen died, and the last of the 3 side character cockroaches died too damn that Zanald should have died right there too the FX Burst Mode was animated awesomely but im dissapointed on Kio that he did not finish that Zanald shit salutes to Seric that was a well made death scene judging from the preview looks like Fram will die next week :( |
| Damn Seric had an awesome death scene, still not as moving as Woolf's or Yurin's but definitely good for this series, I felt captain's pain D:. Saw Deen dying a mile away, but I thought Zanald would die too...got some damn fast reflexes. Still good to see Kio somewhat break off his nokill policy if just for one fight. Kinda funny: Sandman dude used a drill attack, while Deen's seiyuu also voiced Simon (Gurren Lagann)...can't be a coincidence right? Would be interesting if Deed died by that drill if only for the reference value LOL. Overall a good episode, but next week will be the big one... |

| Serics death made more sense in the anime then in the game (in th game he was just flyin around with a broken thruster, in the anime he got in enemy teritory). Also, AGE-FX Burst Mode was awesome, from what Ive seen ingame I thought it were Crsytals comin out, no its the damm awesome friggin thrusters used as swords! This way its at least not too much of a copy of Trans-AM. |

 What an incredible episode, Kio was actually pretty epic and FX Burst Mode activation is one of the best segments this anime. The changes it makes to the Gundam are pretty stunning all those beams everywhere and that incredible power, it was almost scary really when it seemed to pull out this power of revenge from the kid. Hope he can keep it under control the next two episodes or else, this may not have a happy ending The characters are really its strong point at times and I think I didnt realize how attached I was to them. Serics battle was just plain stunning and pretty embarassing for the person he went against. If you lose to a non gundam suit then you should just quit being vegan, bad. However the consequence of the win made me cry when it was revealed he'd have to be sacrificed since he was stuck. Even Flit got emotional from it and poor Kio. Worst yet when Kio faced Deen, Deen was a good minor character, and they managed to come to an understanding, then he died cause of the dumb vegan, ugh, that was tough and unfair. Id totally have done what Kio did because that wasn't right. Zehearto's has gone to far, and I hope he's stopped, but not killed. 48 needs to hurry. |

| I wonder why Kio let his enemy go in the very end, maybe hes thinking that he doesn't want to become like his grandfather always bent on revenge? That would be pretty cool. Anyway if this series ends the way I hope it will, this might be my favorite gundam series of the new millenium. |

The brat wants to save his enemies but he can't save his own teammates moreover he could not kill the fat bastard!!! Nice Kio why don't you join the enemy instead you are not doing your team any good fighting like a total loser. He doesn't have what it takes to be a soldier or even a pilot. Dark days are ahead for the Asuno family indeed. And people comparing Kira to Kio...........please there are way too much difference between them he is not even in same level as the dirt on Kira's shoes in my opinion. Asemu fight scenes are nice as usual. He can make good combos with his team mates. And it was nice to see Flit showing concerns. It was sad to see him consumed by revenge. But he has good reasons for the hatred against vagans. Just 2 more episodes to go!!! 100% agree with your post, Kio is just a shithead compared to Kira, sorry guys Kira is far more matured than Kio even on SEED, he killed Rau mercilessly when he killed Flay, in AGE Kio pulled a stunt similar to Kira's and Setsuna during the time he unleashed TransAm for the first time, and all hell breaks lose, fans love the scene but when Kio spared the fatass's life I was trolled bigtime. Kio is a total disappointment and I don't see that changing anymore despite the 2 remaining episode. AGE FX burst mode is not attractive, it's like Gurren Lagann spitting every drills it got but in a worse fashion. Anyway AGE-FX is ugly compared to AGE 3 and AGE-2 imo, let alone the current forms of the two As expected Seric pulled a heroic mu la flaga death stunt, When hen was stuck at the enemy ship the first thing that came to my mind was Flit telling natora to fire PB regardless, but here we saw the opposite. what's more Flit even salutes after Diva disintegrates the enemy force as a form of tribute to the heroic stunt pulled by Seric, just like Woolf he is one of the few epic guys of AGE. he's got the most manly death in AGE imo |

No matter what the ending, this is one of the worst from the Gundam series ever. opinions are subjective... i actually agree with him Gundam AGE has more Plot-Driven Story (3 generaions+ various subplots/plot devices from old gundam shows) than the other famous gundam shows that are more Character-Driven Story Plot-Driven Story more plots/subplots but with less character screentime/development/interaction Character-Driven Story more character interaction/development/screentime but with less plot/subplots my only gripe with Gundam AGE is that the animation quality is poor |
| Damn it, next to Flit, Seric was my favorite character this generation. All cool characters die in this show. I'm still thinking on a way to blame this on Kio for the hell of it. Well, Kio Yamato just spared Zanald. Next episode is Fram and Olbright for sure. |

| Woah Gundam AGE redeemed itself for almost five minutes in my eyes regarding Seric Abis' sacrifice. That was nice for a change, when he died I wished he was the main protagonist and not some indecisive kid in a literal deus ex machina who wants to save everyone like Jesus Kira Yamato (to his credit, at least Kira can walk on water. LOL Sorry couldn't help myself). After that, it went back to the kid protagonist screaming his convictions in space battlefield with a lots of crying, hell I'm crying a river of tears too for the wasted plot potential in Gundam AGE. The moment Deen exploded in front of him was a nice gut punch to wake him up to reality though... and activate his berserk mode. Back to show Kio... XP Ah I just broke a promise to myself not to whine about a kid show. >_< |

Kio Asuno = Saya of Blood-C in terms of protecting friend/comrade by letting them die On Gen 2, Asemu had so much respect for Woolf since he's a veteran pilot who worked with his father who he idolizes at that time due to his lack of X-rounder capabilities. but here in Gen 3 it seems to me Kio is way too overconfident of his X-rounder abilities not to mention his overpowered MS and thinks of everyone in the Diva as mere cannonfodders that he needs to save. In other words he's a spoiled brat. Flit should've never helped Kio gain X-rounder powers at a young age,ad make him learn that ability by working hard just as Flit did. perhaps that way we could see Kio getting more humility and having more sense of respect to his elder brother's words such as Seric's constant advice to him not to let his naivety backfire against him. I think Kio needs a huge (and emotionally painful) wake up call by getting his loved ones (I mean true loved ones) dead, Wendy, Flit or Asemu's death could get him back to his previous mentality on the first half of Gen3, or maybe the entire Diva crew dead, yes we need Tomino's kill em all to get wake this stupid brat up. but make Zanald do the job. |

He protected his own teammates as much as he could even during the orb fight. Beside it isn't that easy when it's 4 against 1 with Strike and 3 psychos against 1 even with Strike Freedom.......he tried his best to save as many people as he can be it friends or foes. Also this don't kill the enemy pilot theme started from Gundam Wing Endless Waltz movie but bashing Kira for the wrong reasons is just freaking unfair. |
