That is somewhat ridiculous, these are not even anime of a culturally important standard. I can see the need to publicly finance some sectors of the anime industry, but then at least finance things that are worthwhile, perhaps new works by Studio 4°C. Even compensating Kyoani for its losses on Nichijou would be better.

Lmao. I can see why they need the money. With a series like like Blood Crap, they're not gonna get much profit.

For Ishihara it's better to censor a movie with blood than put a movie with sexy girls!!!!

Why? Seriously, why Blood-C? There're tons of other movies that'll be coming out, many more series, lots of studios that could use the movie. But of Allllll That, they choose This.

Really, now, really? -.-V

I don't see how you are using that phrase.

1. People aren't hating on it. They are just criticizing the fact there are BETTER selection choices
2. People pointed out slow action and censorship makes this series bad
3. The cultural department us handling it. HOW is it related to the vulture more than dome others that could've been selected?

... What?

Excuse me, can someone explain this news to me?
I don't get it... Why would they do something like that?
They have too much money so they started wasting it on random crap?
If they wanted to support the anime industry, why not spend that money on all the good mangas that need to be animated instead of a Blood-C movie?
I mean, Blood-C doesnt even have that many fans, it's not like they will make a huge profit... So why?!

Censorship isn't really a valid reason, considering it will probably be removed for the BD/DVD version. I suppose heavy action lovers wouldn't really like Blood-C, but there are those that aren't bothered by the amount of action. It really just depends on the person.

If anyone were to invest in a movie that wont pay for itself, it would have to be a government, since by giving out money they dont expect anything in return.

Hated the series for the most part, but I am happy for the movie to see how it ends. There was a huge cliffhanger at the end of the show... they can't do a complete 180 and just stop. The movie was needed.

I do think it is stupid though that the movie is getting financial assistance from the Government. There are tons of more deserving shows.

I hope that the movie has less gore too... I don't mind gore, but the very last episode was wayyyyyyyyyy too extreme. Throwing people in a giant bowl monster part and blending them was way too psycho even with the censors.

Also, I sure do hope that they don't include stupid censors.

Well the serie was bad mostly because of the directing than anything else.
The movie start on a somehow good setting and Saya will not be annoying anymore. I'll wait before putting the movie in the same category than the Tv serie, it's like not watching Haruhi movie because s2 was bad.
