Yo enjoy your anniversary on the day you were born.

It's not because someone disagrees with me that I am going to "bust his chops", especially it's your right to hate it. But considering the fact you haven't seen the whole show, your judgement doesn't make sense.

Your Higurashi review is a joke. I hope so.

Read your Kuzu No Honkai review. Couple of things I wanted to point out

1. Hanabi is attached to Kanai like family because of the lack of male presence in her early life. Her father abandoned the family at an early age and she compensated for that by looking up to the most reliable male in her life at the time as a replacement for emotional stability. The fact that they weren't blood related made that familial bond grow into sexual love as she grew into puberty. She continues to call him Oni-chan, not to pander to a fetish, but to show how important he is to her life.

2. School Days is an extreme comparison that doesn't capture any of Kuzu's artistic merit or sincerity to it's character. More similar to Neon Genesis Evangelion and Aku no Hana for how the characters are used as a vehicle to explore larger issues. and unlike NGE, Kuzu does not criticize it's characters for making mistakes.

3. I'd agree Kuzu No Honkai isn't mature just for the sexual content. But it is mature for how it goes about handling it. There is constant inner monologue from on the significance of each moment and often lines of regret stating that it won't rid them of their pain. The escapades of Hanabi and Ecchan are incredibly poignant with meaning speaking on the issues of LGBT who fall for people that will never feel the same way about them. You say Mugi and Hanabi write off their encounters as nothing, but that's not true at all. They have formed an attachment to one another.

4. Kuzu No Honkai is about people that fall under the delusion of self-worth = sexual desire. What age group do these people usually fall under? Teenagers who have no idea how to express themselves romantically aside from banging. It's not a fanservice anime. It's a serious focus into the common problem of teenagers trying to find answers to a question that doesn't have any solutions.

The vibe of Kuzu No Honkai is intentionally "uncomfortable" because love is uncomfortable. This is how you portray it accurately. If they were to just have Mugi and Hanabi date one another and successfully get over their trauma without all the angst, it wouldn't be authentic. Most of these romance shows are a bunch of fairy tail fluff that won't happen. The characters in Kuzu No Honkai are everywhere.

Finally, a Kuzu no Honkai review that makes sense. Well done, I for the life of me can't imagine why this is getting so many appraisals apart from the fact that it is pretty much softcore porn for 13 year olds.
