| Just finished rewatching the first episode. This is one of the better pilot episodes for a series, the characters' personalities are projected to the audience very well. Mugen showed why he is the shit. |

| I thought it was a good episode as well, the action was good although they do make Mugen as jin said have a lot of unessecary movements lol, putting that aside its looks like a good start to a new series. |

| That was a great way to start the series, Im totally hooked. Loving the mixture of old Eastern themes and new Western themes. Ive heard a lot of good things about this series, so I expect it to keep up this quality to the end. |

| I think the first episode was very much enjoyable..I love Mugen's character he is so typically a Watanabe character..he is similar to Spike from CB in the sense they are both very "cool"..it gets even better in the second episode..very unique fighting style, design and animation. |

| Great fiist episode with top-notch animation. My only complain is that I didn't like the hip-hop transitions of one scene to another during the fights. Apart from that, I enjoyed very much everything about the pilot. |

| Well that was a freaking awesome start to a series. Hope the rest is as awesome as the first episode seemed to be. Thought it was a very good pilot, displaying some great animation and showing the audience exactly what the characters will be like. I like all three of them: Mugen, Jin, and Fuu. :> |

| Okay, at first glance I thought that it won't be so good as people say. This feeling was even strenghtened when the opening music started playing. I was like "Oh, God, what pile of crap did I just step into... Good, that the rest of this episode has proven me wrong. The action, the dialogues, the characters and their faces (:D) make an awesome set. I guess that it'll be it for today, will have to re-watch Shana soon... |

| Thus far to be the 2nd best Samurai genre for me. The only thing I disliked about this is the minor art detail, Fuu's breast suddenly grew when she was running then deflated lol..well anyways.. this could be a promising anime |

| The voice actors for Mugen and Jin happen to be my favorite and they've done a great job so far portraying these samurai's. I loved how they started the pilot with sword fighting action. It got my attention quickly. Looking forward to more slicing and dicing. |
| The art is weird but I'll get used to it. Nice animation and those fake boobs made me lol The dub isn't bad either (I DLed an english-only 720p series so I don't really have a choice) |

| I am gonna like this show. Great introduction; the characters look very interesting and the sword play was exceptionally done. Mugen and Jin complement each other very well. They both kick ass |

| NAKAI KAZUYA AS MUGEN! Jin is awesome as well! I'm already liking the girl too ^^, she's the perfect balance to Mugen and Jin's awesome. This is a pretty realistic portrayal. I like how they present it like it should be presented, in a mature manner. That's how it was Post-Sengoku, that's how it should be told. Watching this right after re-watching Sengoku Basara really adds to the effect as well. This is awesome, I've finally found myself another Samurai anime with other elements, the way they present it with the rewinding and forwarding is pretty unique too. Oh yeah, that wild break-dance and Refined-sword team is epic. I can't believe this is only the first episode, I can't wait to see what's in store later on. I'm going to love this, definitely. |

| damn! that was awesome!!! the fight scene as Mugen and Jin faced off son and father with the mashup music playing in background... I don't have words to describe it. The first few minutes gave a very FLCL feel but it looks like it's going in a different direction. Oh well, not that it matters, since I don't think I'll be disappointed wherever it goes in the search for the samurai who smells like sunflowers. A 5/5 from me. :) |
