| I have constantly said that I would pay an arm and a leg to see the Jinchuu arc animated in its truest form (and not some third rate OVA). This news is the best way to start my week. Even if they just solely animated the Jinchuu arc, I'd be happy. But I would imagine they are going to start from the very beginning, which I also would have no problem with. As with DBZ Kai, they have the full source material, wouldn't have to wait around for the mangaka to release chapters and as a result, there would absolutely be no need for any fillers. I guess it depends on what studio will end up doing it. I do hope whoever does get tabbed to do it, they make the anime a bit more serious than the previous one (despite the fact that I did enjoy the anime series anyway). I just hope this announcement isn't only for a few OVAs but for a full fledged series. I guess this also means that there has been some high interest in Japan to see this series revived again. Can't wait. :D |

| Glad to hear that a new Kenshin anime is coming out, hopefully it will be a true adaptation of the Jinchuu arc and bring back the original voice actors. It will be interesting who they might choose to play Saitou, considering Hirotaka Suzuoki passed away years ago, so I hope they pick someone that closely sounds like him. |
