| Brilliant! Such high tension episode! From the preview last week I thought it would be an emo fest but they threw in enough EPICNESS to make it astonishing!!! Shippuden is just sooooo good at this moment >< I am also really looking forward to see Sasuke's reasoning, I am pretty confident he will have a good one. I have quite a few theories but afraid to share them and unintentionally trow a huge spoil. ^^ Also mildly interested in see what Sakura will say to Naruto next time they meet. Hoping for something decent since I think her character needs some love after being utterly destroyed by a succession of huge fails. Of course, all of this pales in comparison to the upcoming fights!!! It's amusing how week after week the episodes seem to be getting better ain't it?! Let's just hope the budget follows suit ¬¬ |

| The spoilt brat that is Sakura getting a reality check was way, way overdue. Sai; a social ferrel, and newcomer being the one to administer it just proves eveyone around Sakura mollycoddles her too much. Naruto fails in this episode too; he begs Raikage to leave Sasuke alone dispite his actions and insists he'll be the one to stop Sasuke, yet what's Naruto doing? Nothing; he's tucked away in his cosy flat depressed. For all he knows, Sasuke could be causing mass havok, tearing more families apart and wrecking villages, yet is nobody is allowed to touch him because he's Naruto's concern? |

| It's good to be back on track. It can get a little boring with all the fillers, but as most of the people in here, I also like the intensity and the way the anime makes the chapters overlap so beautifully. Can't wait to see the next couple of battle scenes. I'm keeping myself updated on the manga, but I like the battles in the anime more. It's just a better media for high speed action. |

| The ending was really exciting what a amazing cliffhanger it send trills down my spine. First of all that suicidal clone that appeared in the middle of the Kage he must really be brainless to do such a thing. And Raikage's reaction to it was very nice to see. The second thing Uchiha Madara appearing before Naruto. Just what is he planning and how will Naruto react to it. I am also wondering what will happen to Sasuke and his team and what will happen whit the Kage meeting. |

To sum it up... Sakura needs to; grow up, step up as an equal team mate, learn something new, research what she's up against and aknowledge that 'bringing Sasuke back' isn't going to be easy; especially since he's hanging around with the organisation who has a bounty on Naruto's head. Sakura has shown personality flaws from the start, from: - Altering her appearance and trying to 'attract Sasuke with her looks' - Turning on the 'pretty girl' who befriended her - Potentially becoming a ninja simply to get close to Sasuke - Making it clear Sasukes presence was more importiant to her then anyone else Yet Naruto never complains and either do any of the villagers, even Kakashi left her to her own devices; she needed someone to aid her in opening her eyes and taking some responsibility for her behaviour. That's my perspective anyway. ; ) |

I don't know if you like to use such cunning methods with your relationships, but seriously is completely out there to assume such a thing about that scene. We are talking about a twelve year old girl that had her first obsessive crush here and at that point it was certain how blind she was at Naruto feelings because all she was seeing was Sasuke. Undeniably she was a little bit of an airhead but she wasn't an evil cunning person and expecting a 12 year old to be perfect example of maturity is ridiculous. Naruto was already going to the mission, she already knew he was quite strong and she had no one else that she knew so close as Naruto to beg for help, so she asked for his help because as a young girl with an obsessive crash she was suffering that she would might not see again her target of love. If she's guilty for asking, then every person ever asking the help of a friend should be condemned. And asking Naruto brought tears to her eyes because she really felt helpless that she couldn't stop him herself and she had to ask Naruto for help. She was crying exactly for the opposite reason than trying to use her tears. She was crying because all she could do was cry and ask for help. And that's why she said to Naruto afterwards that they will bring him back together. It was like a promise to herself to help him more and not just ask and a try not to let him feel it's fully his responsibility. But if you hate her so much all you can think is that it was some evil plan to reinforce the promise despite being no need for her to do it since Naruto already gave his speech about how not going back in his promise and not giving-up because it's his ninja way. After such speech is obvious that she told him they will do it together because she saw he took all the burden with his obsessive ninja way and she felt it wasn't right but hey lets not stop the hate. Last time i checked when Sasuke asked Naruto why his so obsessed on bringing him back, he got the answer of "first bonds" and all that shit. Because Sakura asked me, was nowhere in his explanation. | This is my love for Hinata x Naruto speaking. I hated when Sai told Sakura that even he could tell that Naruto loved her. I hope..really..really..hope that Sasuke comes back to be with Sakura, that way Naruto can move on. I for one do think that the burden Naruto holds in bringing Sasuke back is partially Sakura's fault. It was a request from the person he loved, so how exactly was he supposed to refuse. Even if Naruto would want to rescue Sasuke all on his own, Sakura telling him that it was a "one in a life time request" while been teary, would of course make him one to do it. His failure at not keeping that promise, is probably a huge burden on him. As for him welling up in his room like that; I think even Naruto has the right to have a breakdown; he has been through a lot. |

| @ Monad I usually don't like your approach to the subject (and ooo boy, how you raged on this last post of yours) but this time I have to agree, Queen_Stars was badly needing a reality check if he really did get to those conclusions on his own and it's honestly not trolling! It gave me severe facepalms reading trough his post. I still think trying to read anything homoerotic into this is a bit far fetched, It's just that Japanese REALLY blow out of proportion childhood relationships (and who am I to judge? I also do this in my own life ¬¬), the fact that both of them have a big burden, a traumatic past and no family so to speak can really make things even more delineated. -- Also, just watched the last three episodes again in succession and almost have no words to describe how much entertaining they were, lucky someone got it perfectly already! layfonkun said: Huh just got caught up, and I'm impressed. Agreed. Sai wasn't really all that lovable at the beginning but now i adore him simply because of what he said to Sakura. Its about time someone told her she was an idiot. | OK, first of all.... I....AM...NOT...A....NARUTO...HATER... BUT, the girls in Naruto are the WORST, plain and simple. It makes me sick to watch them, hell, it makes me sick to watch this SHIT anymore, also I USED TO defend Naruto a lot in the past....NOT ANYMORE. This is worst than watching daytime soaps... In fact I was so agitated from watching this I decided to update my Top 5 most hated characters in Anime. #1 Sakura Haruno (Naruto) #2 Shirou Emiya (Fate/Stay Night) #3 Everyone from School Days #4 Sasugay (Naruto) #5 Index (To aru Majutsu no Index) Monad said: It's almost like a fucking gay couple. Anyways the last bit rocked! That was totally unexpected; Mizukage Ninja using Byakugan and Donzo getting revealed and Zetsu pops up and at last Madara just like that, it was done pretty nicely. The pacing was great this time. Can't wait for next week! |

The emotion they put into the scene with Sai telling Sakura about Naruto loving her was just brilliantly done. And I would say it is just as much her fault for Naruto's suffering simply because he feels like he can't do anything else in his life until he fulfills the promise made to the one he loves. If she hadn't asked him to promise, he would still be suffering, but significantly less because it isn't something he has to do for/to make Sakura happy again. And with Zetsu, I find him to be a decent character. I like the mystery that goes with him. All I can remember of him is that he seems to be able to just disappear within the ground and then later pop out, and can split himself. Other than that I really don't know what to think about him but that mystery keeps me intrigued. BTW I don't read the manga so all of this is coming from me first seeing all this and everything through the anime. Oh, and I like the opening to and it is a little weird to still see it going even after all the fillers, but I have a feeling they might keep it simply because it looks like it was meant for this arc anyways, and the producers probably figured it would save money to just produce and use the opening through all the fillers and the new arc. But I could be mistaken and if it changes I will be open in arms for it. |

Forget the fillers, the fight was pretty recent. I say a few days tops, most of them she probably spent hospitalized. They simply didn't had the opportunity/time to meet again after that, specially since right after the Sasuke ordeal started and he left the village. That's all. Of course, it's also pretty convenient for them so save this high emotional plot device for a later moment... and I am one really looking forward to it >< |

Overall okay/good episode. Somewhat slow. |
