Fair call, I know you'd never touch that crap with a ten foot pole. I mean there was one character that was cool in Onii Ai, but she doesn't make up for the rest of that horrible anime that was only made because there seems to be a trend in little sister bro-con based anime because of the massive success of Oremo, which wasn't really about bro-con but the title alone is all people need to draw conclusions and AHHHHHHHH

Sorry about that, I had to get that off my chest. (I feel much better now), Now back to the regular conversation.



Okay on to the rest of our conversations :) Hope you've been well my friend.

I'm going to assume you have already seen Cuticle? I have and I am enjoying the hell out of this. There seems to be a lot more bi shonen characters in this season, but I'm having so much fun with the plot, characters engagements and the character who is really just Cuticles audience, he questions so we don't have to :)

I am also watching Amnesia, it's a nice concept that I'm going to stick with for now. It is intriguing enough for me to pay attention and some of the characters are quite cool.

I'm still watching Little busters from last season, this week they had a filler ep which involved Rikki cross dressing, sword fighting with newspapers and a very moe filled sleepover. Okay I know, it's nothing too great but compared to how grim the past arcs have been, it feels nice to have some senseless fun in between the main story.


I'm also watching two other shows from this season, but I will leave that for my next reply :) I'm dying to know what you think about this seasons shows :)
Okay now I'm starting to feel hungry hehe, Yes we both need our daily helpings of dessert, recently I've woken up in the middle of the night and found small Hershey chocs on my bedside table :P plus a 1.5L bottle of water hahaha. Considering we brush our teeth and such, I think we are allowed to eat the sweet stuff :)

I just had alot of work and I'm thinking bout reapplying for uni this year and going back. I'm really really sick of working and would like to study and get a better job.

I havn't exactly been the most active with anime either, I can tell you bout the animes I dropped.
Gawd do not watch Btooom whatever you do, that show will btooom your braincells.

I didn't drop accel world because I have a puppy crush on kuroyukihime. It was pretty painful to cram through the last few episodes tho. Guilty crown is just bad but it was interesting enough to keep watching.\

You just reminded me that I still haven’t seen Tiger and Bunny. I have been making plans to watch it for like forever and in the end never managed to see it. I think there are a couple of movies coming out (or they are already out, need to check). I will probably watch it once I reduce some backlogs and few other anime on my priority list right now! Thanks for reminding me though! :)

As for what Bread has to do with JoJo, you have to watch the anime to get it! So, yes, you were right. Even though I wasn’t planning to recommend this anime to you, but since you are enjoying (I commend you!) Psy-pass, I thought this wouldn’t be an impossible watch for you! If you do have some time, do give it a shot! The first couple of episodes aren’t that good and there is this Speedwagon character who might drive you crazy with his over-exaggerated remarks, but soon you’ll get used to it and start enjoying the anime. It’s pure gold I tell you!

I think you asked me this question before, but why do I feel I forgot to answer? I can be so forgetful sometimes, gomen ne! I get my anime from nyaa.eu. I actually hardly download torrents myself as I have always had MAL Updater running in my laptop and it has these amazing features such as updating anime after you watch a particular episode of it automatically in your MAL profile and what’s more, it has this utorrent plug-in that works like magic with utorrent client. It simply downloads my listed anime using preferred fansubs and file types (720p mkv for instance) absolutely automatically as soon as they are up in TokyoTosho.info. As I am replying to your comment, it just finished torrenting [UTW-Mazui]’s Little Busters! episode 13. A great tool for whoever following ongoing anime a lot. :)

I will probably never going to watch the old one now, since I have heard the old one contains a lot of filler and the new one is a better adaptation. I still haven’t decided whether I should start it though, since I want to see after the next two weeks how many anime I will be following this season.

“And hey, technically you could consider anime like Otome Youkai Zakuro and Kamisama Hajimemashita reverse harems!

Kamisama Hajimemashita, probably a bit (even though we know there is only one who is destined to be with Nanami ♥). But Otome Youkai Zakuro? I don’t think so lol. When there are three people in a love triangle, or more than one couple involved in a shoujo anime, I don’t think they can be considered as a reverse harem. The ratio just has to be 1 : (3 or more). It is same for general harem anime as well.

I saw the first epsidoe. It did give an awful lot of similarity like spice and wolf. The only difference is while Horo seemed to appear naked a lot in the early episodes, Maou tend to show off her chest a lot to tease Yuusha. I found it a bit off and thought the anime could do without it (cannot help it when you see the production team), but the rest of the anime looked pretty decent. The seiyuu list is commendable. Particularly when you have Kamiya Hiroshi as antagonist (reminds me of Izaya, he can be such an awesome villain), and other popular seiyuu like Tomatsu Haruka, Sawashiro Miyuki, Saito Chiwa in the cast, I think it’s worth a shot. Also, putting aside Maou’s showing off, she appeared to be surprisingly cute for some reason!

Two things I will never understand about shoujo anime.

The male leads, despite being shown quite the sturdy ones, become all friable when they catch a simple cold. I am always like “WHAT THE…?” I mean I catch colds too, but I never let others to realize that I am sick. And there are times when I played football (yep, nothing beats it, the best feeling in the world) or Tennis within a day after getting over from a fever. What’s this? Am I missing something? Do I need to show girls that I am sickly and weak? I am a fail of a guy who has seen a lot of shoujo anime yet probably would never understand what girls’ in general think. Do let me know if you think there is something charming about guys being sickly and weak.

The other is, for instance, this guy here Shani reads a book or talks with a foreigner and girls going “Kyaa~, Shani-san wa kakkoii, suteki!” when I can practically hear this Shani is speaking in Engrish with an BIG R. I know that the Japanese have to deal a lot to capture English pronunciation but do shoujo anime really have to take that embarrassing route almost every time?

Even after all these, why do I still love shoujo anime so much I really, honestly don’t know!
