It was just the ending that killed all named characters, over the course of the show only few named characters died (three I can think of). If we're talking named characters, they just need to kill more than 10-15 good guys here to top Ideon. |

| O_o Looks like some informations about the previous episodes are revealed only in the next recap segment. The narrator interpreted Katejina's behavior as a result of love (for Chronicle) and her letter as a sign of "remorse" (thanks to the peaceful atmosphere of the village). Uso's decision to go ahead with child and baby aboard was incredibly dumb, even as a child (even worse considering he proved himself more intelligent than that). And is he seeing his mother in Katejina? Nice to see even a nameless soldier hesitate to shout when he's facing a little girl and a baby. 4/5 An all-female Gundam squad? How many will stay alive? Tomino dislikes Gundam anime he doesn't make but he probably took inspiration in 0083's Anaheim all-(hot 80s)female engineers team. | Like @Hatul, I'm less shocked by Shrike's team being all-female than by the fact that they're all seemingly gorgeous amazones. I mean seriously, where in the fuck did Oliver recruit them? At a casting for Side 2's Next Top Model? I also agree that their piloting is reckless as fuck. Aiming for the highly explosive cockpit on Earth is not only dangerous for everyone in the vicinity of the detonation, but also an absolute disaster for the environment. Look at what they did to that forest of blooming trees! Now THAT was a good use of a Brighto Punch. I agree with you @Rei366, unlike Zeta and 0079 where phsycial violence had pretty much replaced all common forms of human interactions, here the punch had actual impact. Still, inflicting that kind of punishment on a 11 year old is a little too much for me: Uso was very reckless this episode, especially considering how far ahead he was able to predict the BESPA's movements, but he's no Kamille Bidan. A slap would've be fine. |

Did he ever made a comment on 0083? i think he would loved it. @Rei_III Ah god, i'm such an idiot! what i meant was 0080: War in the Pocket, you know because of its anti war message and its take on children view on war and giant robots, from what i read, tomino really dislike gunpla and fetishizing of mass destruction Weapons like gundam. So i thought it would be right up his alley. |
