| I thought this was a great eps! It sets the scene for more suspense in the future - from the past! Yeah, really want to know more about the promise! Feels like the romance is picking up. I rarely look forward to the romance bits, but Blood+ is good because it doesn't make the love all sappy! |

| I spent half the episode wondering what the heck was going on, (and why no one seemed to notice that Riku was missing!) then realized they were talking about Rasputin and that it was a flashback to a time when Saya also had short hair (that part confused me, especially because every glimpse we've had of her past featured her with long hair, even that photo of her and Haji). I thought it all was very cute and moving though :) (especially when she wanted him to stand in the corner xD) I'm banking on the promise between them to involve Haji killing her actually, because if she's lived so long and her entire purpose was as a weapon and to destroy Diva (I'm guessing a living creature--remember when her/its container began moving on its own?) then maybe when she feels that when her purpose is fulfilled there is no point to living anymore. I agree, it's getting a tad confusing, especially because a lot of these names are left very unexplained. I just don't want everything left to the last 3 episodes that would drive me crazy xD Did anyone else find it freaky that Rasputin decided to disguise himself with the body of a young blonde girl and was feeling up Saya and saying he's drawn to her? (*imagines every creepy photo of Rasputin out there*) |
| Rasputin as a blood sucking monster feeling up young girls--so what else is new? Although he was certainly just as difficult to kill as any of the other monsters in the show. Good flashback scene to give some of the history of the struggle. Of course Anastasia is now known as Diva, and like Saya she has to take periodic long (30 year) naps.... |

| Freaky episode. I got all confused at the end, when the whole thing turned out to be a flashback. But now I'm finally hooked to the story; it's turning out to be quite a piece of work. |

| i agree with everyone else that has posted. I didnt even know it was a flashback until i read these posts haha i was extremely confused. When i picture rasputin i think of the guy in the dreamworks animated anastasia movie lol creepy. Great episode though i loved the haji X Saya moments >.< |
| 4/5 Episode of reflection, but that gave the impression to go along with the plot, while showing inconsistencies. Unfortunately, some doubt remains, but the concept is clear, for years together have been many Haji and Saya. Narrative that provides fixed points but adds many new mysteries as the proliferation of names so far unknown. So Anastasia was the name he had Diva at that time and they are found in the same place once before, in the most know some peculiarities of Haji and Saya. Too bad that the drawings are only sufficient. |

| 5/5 Fantastic episode, glad to see some backstory being implemented here and there. For those confused as to the flashback, she did pass out in the snow in the previous episode, makes sense she would remember something that had occurred in a similar setting. Beside that, I enjoyed seeing a different side of Haji, but yeah, I am curious as to the promise as well. I'm sure it will be revealed in time though. |

| I thought it was quite obvious that it was a flashback. I mean, Haji had loose hair, he was wearing a frilled shirt, and he was looking freaking awesome with those changes, and he had both hands... normal human hands... And he was smiling. Have you ever seen him smiling until now? He said that he's been practicing on cello the song that she taught him. And their relationship seemed closer. Haaaajiiiii! <3 If you're not gonna warm up to her soon, I'm won't like you anymore! Finally they gave us something from their past... Not much, but it's something. |

| For one short moment i had hopes they would actually do it, having a time skip. Saya would still be the same of course, both physically and mentally, but everyone else would have changed or would even be dead. Would have been really interesting on how that would play out, especially as most of the time timeeskips happen after a short introduction, basically instead of flashbacks later. Now that we had more than 15 episodes of what is the actual story (though that would be arguable if they had done a time skip..), with the whole interaction..it would be really interesting, especially Kai, Riku, Kaori etc., how they would continue living for years and decades, and then meet Saya again, maybe after even (almost) forgetting about her. Too bad it was a flashback.. |
