| There were some peak popcorn entertainment on that bus. This arc really highlights the different personalities between Anya, Damian, and Becky when in stress. Anya and Damian are just being themselves in their first ever hostage situation. Obviously the school are on this too so this should get even more spicy soon. The terrorists are not messing around with that bomb threat. Anya's mind reading ability is so useful in this arc. |

| Anya's really cooked this time. No Loid or Yor around to help her. She basically has to do things herself and with her friends. Throwing a note outside was a really smart move. But if these terrorists were more extreme, they would've been done for. I kinda expected this, but the neck bombs really were fake. Maybe the rebels aren't THAT bad. Anya and Damian's little moment there was both funny and cute. I wanna see how Yuri's gonna help in this situation. Don't remember the last time he was in action. Is he even competent enough to help? |

| Anya's "osoroi da" to Damian when he got neck the bomb attachment was hilarious. Plus the "act tough" moments were top-tier. We got a glance of actual spooked out Anya too, wanted to give her a big hug then damn. Hopefully, that wasn't the trump card that the terrorist leader was referring to, though. A part of me feels like the one on Damian might just be a real one but the odds are unlikely of course. Still, it's not like the general situation has improved in any way. Most tense Spy x Family's gotten? Definitely up there in the top three or so, and I can't wait to see how they'll go about resolving this one. For all those thinking Spy x Family's lost its charm, this season has definitely proven that's not the case at all! |

| Actually so proud of Damian for standing up for the terrorists and trying to help Anya out of her bomb situation.. too bad he didn’t know its all a ruse and just sees Anya as being a dumbass about everything lmao. The fact he was willing to put his life on the line for Anya is so sweet though, I love them sm. Gonna be interesting to see who saves the day first between uncle Yuri and Yor. No way Yor doesn’t get involved in this right?? |

| This bus jacking arc has been very intense so far, but I’m glad alongside that we’ve still had the usual silly moments we’re used to, like after Anya learned the bomb was a fake, she goes and starts slapping it lol. Really tho the moment when Anya first had the bomb put on her was scary, her expressions especially sold it, really she’s lucky these terrorists aren’t that extreme, otherwise this would be very dark. Lots of respect to Damian tho, despite thinking the bombs are real, he tried taking one for the team and relieving Anya of the burden, it’s just unfortunate they just put another one on him lol, but his courage was still great there. It’s also nice seeing Yuri again, wasn’t sure if he would ever be relevant in this season lol, this is an especially good showing for him because he’s trying to help with this bus jacking situation, it may just be for Yor’s sake but still, although I’m not sure if he’ll be able to help with the bus that Anya is on because he’s currently after the second bus, but that bus is full of kids too so it’s also important. And then we ended on a cliffhanger, it’s tough but this being more of a lighthearted show, I doubt any of the kids are actually dying, but regardless of that, I’m still liking this arc quite a bit. |
Really good episode, funny how this will end up getting more development than Loid's backstory... with a war... I always appreciate how dark SxF can go despite the familial antic nature of the show. They even go so far as to show Anya's dead body in the morgue with Yor having to identify her, that's hardcore. Only complaint is one I have with pretty much all anime these debased days, the outdoor shots look so sterile and lifeless. The buildings look good, but the environment itself, the lack of clutter and people, the stillness, it's all CG hell... Even the bus and all the cars are fake and it shows. Could you imagine watching a backalley fight scene in something like Cowboy Bebop and having everything seem devoid of life, with the backgrounds looking too clean and at odds with the moving characters in the frame? Probably not. But as I said this is an issue with pretty much all anime nowadays. I don't think Frieren had this problem though, which is the last big show I bothered to watch. God help you if you're watching a smaller romcom or something like that, everything is so barren and built to budget. |
| Poor Anya getting overloaded by all those panic thoughts. If anything got to commend the kids for remaining calm and planning ways to allow others to find them. The passing notes clique never gets old. Thank god for Becky's clear handwriting though. The collar bomb method to keep the hostages in line with fear huh. That scene where Becky's dad got karate chopped by Martha though ha. About time the police got here. Still the way state security does things sure was cold. But its nice to see Yuri get some action. |

| This episode had the perfect mix of serious moments with comedy. For example, it was terrifying seeing them but a bomb around Anya's neck, but after she reads their minds and discovers it's a fake bomb, she ends up playing with it, making others unconfortable xD The Secret Police really is ready to kill everyone at the bus to make sure the case doesn't get discloused... It's crazy to think they would be able to kill a bunch of kids for that (especially considering they are all children from important people, so it's highly unlikely the case doesn't become public later on, especially if something happened to these kids). As expected, Yuri initially didn't really care, but after imagining the pain Yor would suffer from losing Anya, he quickly wants to save her, eventhough they didn't really help him, so he's now going to discover where the other bus with the kids is. This episode was also filled with really cute Damian X Anya moments. I wonder if when the anime ends, we'll get to see these 2 older, but still together. Really excited for next week's episode! I can't believe we're more than halfway through with this 3rd season though (only 6 episodes left). It has been so good! I'll need the 4th season soon too. With this episode, it seemed like it only lasted 10 minutes! Edit: Forgot to mention, but Becky did great this episode too! It was really clever of them to write that note (and especially with Becky's handwriting xD). It also seems we are getting a bit of Martha's backstory next episode? I would love to see that, she hasn't appeared much in the anime so far, but it's a really interesting character. Also, here's a screenshot from one of the best scenes of the episode.  |

| The hijacking bus arc continues as well as an opportunity for Anya to get closer to Damian. While she was able to alert the outsiders about their destination, she also became the hostage of a bomb. I thought for a second that it would be a real one but no and since she knows that she impressed the rest of the class particularly Damian who intended to sacrifice himself for her. Not that he would admit that of course but still, I'm really enjoying the development here even if Loid nor Yor are a part of it. |

| Not just Damian but Becky was also super cool this episode, Damian as a potential future politician and leader and Becky with her nerves of steel, Anya hitting her fake bomb all those times was hysterical, the absolute madlad. |

| A bus full of kids of the most powerful and influential people of the nation, and for some reason the security protecting them conveniently sucks ass. Talk about winning the freaking jackpot. Highly risky, but they actually probably would've pull it off- they just didn't know there was a child psychic on board. They still shouldn't have underestimated any of them and tied all the kids up just to be safe. Also idk if they were that hard to see or avoid, but the driver probably should've been focusing on the road a bit better instead of driving head-on into some road spikes. I guess dumb cancels out dumb: lacklustre Eden academy security with rather incompetent kidnappers. At least now we have an interesting situation on our hands. And yeah since they are basically written with god-like superpowers, let's grab out some plot-convenience and have both Loid and Yor be busy right now so that we can tackle this bus hijacking and hostage situation with a more realistic approach. I'm down for that. Can't have everything on below-easy-mode all the time. Let's have Anya and gang get out of this one on their own somehow- maybe with just a little outside help. Wasn't expecting them to show bombs strapped to kids in your mostly wholesome and family friendly show, that got pretty dark. Although they should've just commit and have them be real. Maybe our terrorists here have hearts of gold, but making them fake is kinda weak sauce ngl. Btw, even though it backfired, mad respect to Damian for actually stepping up like a man and telling them to put the bomb in Anya's place. My gut is telling me that this whole ordeal is gonna end with a "huh? that's it?" kind of feeling, but could be wrong of course. Hopefully it does have a satisfying pay-off. I think the whole thing is just meant to get Anya and Damian closer together. That alone would be enough. |

| I'd heard some whisperings here and there that the busjacking arc would be good, so I went into this episode with high expectations. And, uh, damn. My expectations were blown out of the water. The animation was incredible, and the writing was impeccable. That was easily my favorite single episode of the Spy X Family so far. I can't speak for how good of an adaptation this episode was, having not read the source material, but man that was just incredible fun. The humor around Anya and her telepathy was really nice, as were the characters acting under pressure. I liked how the storyline had some real stakes, even if the busjackers are just throwaway villains of the week. I really liked how Anya and her classmates were depicted this episode. What a season so far! |
