| Oh man, the chemistry between those two.... I swear, Miyo really did meet her fated one from the very start. Idk about the unfortune future part but Takao and her should enjoy every moment they have. Seems like a buildup episode this time. |

| It's just us the girls tonight 🍆. But anyway, a lots of moving parts in this and the previous episode, seems like the eventual finale will have a proper build up. And also, when i said i hope we gonna see Kaoruko again, i was not expecting her to be "phoning" in all her remaining appearances, lol. |

| Ah yes interference from the old fools. Love how they managed to weave the interservice rivalry between the army and navy into the narrative as per actual history. Being able to attend to attend their little tea party through a mirror was a nice way to include Kaoruko again. Still that minster that ambushed them sure was unpleasant. Feels like the calm before the storm. |

| A ladies night with prince Takaihito as a guest was unexpected, but it was a pretty wholesome moment where Miyo could feel relaxed while also being able to speak with Kaoruko once again with the use of magic on the mirror. It did lead to Miyo and Takihito having their own talk together about how lonely they can be with the powers that hey each have. It does reflect one half of this episode being the continuing worry of the influence the Gifted Communion has, with the meeting that Takaihito had with the different ministers of government showing their views of what could be the best course of action. Speaking of, one such minister had the audacity to arrive at the palace unannounced and had a bit of a stand off with Arata and Miyo. Considering how conflicted Arata has been, this only helps to worsen his situation. This episode was calming in one way, but tense in another. With 5 episodes left, I do see the Gifted Communion making their next move, whatever that will be. I do feel the calm moments will be taking a back seat very soon. |
| I like how versatile Prince Takaihito is. On the one hand, he's at a meeting to ensure the safety of the empire with troublesome ministers; on the other, he's at a gathering of girls (his looks allowed him to fit right in among them) and he even mischievously provided a bed for Miyo and Kiyoka. Too bad they didn't take advantage of the alone time 😏. The girls meeting was a breath of fresh air amidst all the past and future problems. Miyo is still shy about her relationship with Kiyoka, and it was cute to see Kaoruko starting to develop feelings for Godou. Hazuki, the voice of experience, advises them not to waste their time hesitating, but I too want her to be happy and reconcile with her ex-husband. |

| Based on the cliffhanger the last episode ended on, I didn’t expect us to open with a “Fujoshi-kai/girls talk” sleepover, but I’m glad we did because I loved it! Hazuki’s ability letting Kaoruko join via Meiji era FaceTime was so cool lol. Glad to see she’s doing well in the old capital. She’s definitely gonna end up with Godo now isn’t she?! Felt pretty sad to see how regrettable Hazuki is about she and her ex husband’s divorce. Sometimes you can get too stuck in your own ways and don’t say the things you should and she really wants to prevent that for Miyo and Kaoruko. Great big sister! This is like the most human we’ve seen the prince look too. I used to think he was sus, but nah it feels like he’s just a normal person struggling with all the weight placed on him by his father and having to navigate all the political bs and ministers jockeying for power. None of them really respect him you can tell and just wanna get more powerful themselves. It’s dope how they incorporated the real life navy vs army struggle of imperial Japan into the show too. This was a big debate going into both world wars. I’m worried about this Sakura/snow prophecy though.. Arata still seems very conflicted about whether or not he should go thru with whatever it is gifted communion have tasked him with. Hasebe’s bodyguard was clearly with them right? That’s why he said “thanks for your hard work” but what are they planning… 🤔 “I’m no longer the man I used to be. If possible, I even want to fall deeper in love with you” ahhhhhhshdhdhdhdh. Our boy Kiyoka is such a romantic now, miyo couldn’t even face him after that 😂 🥰 I love them so much such a cute end to the episode!! Can’t wait for the next one |

| Ladies night was an absolute delight and the single futon….would a little snuggling kill ya? I’m too old to be giggling over stuff like this, but damn, this episode had a nice balance between the serious and the too cute. |

| This is one of the worst episodes this season. Why does Miyo answer every question with a question and leave the actual question unanswered? Nothing happened and everyone is so concerned for her. Is Arata blocking Miyo's abilities from developing? Education minister is likely the traitor and they seem to know Arata is working for Usui. There was some intrigue this episode but the awkward romance and Miyo's lack of growth keep it from being better. Also why is Kaoruku there? That bothers me more than the Prince being there hosntly. She's a traitor |

| Great episode, and it's the calm before the storm. Many people have complained that the anime is rushing through the LN. I thought this episode would be boring, but no. It allows us to breathe and savour the emotional moments before the drama ahead. |

| I mean, the prince does look like a girl until he starts talking. I thought we were about to get some sort of reveal that the prince was actually a girl all along. On another note, I am glad that people still enjoy this show, but I am really fighting the urge to drop it. I find myself losing interest more and more every week. |

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was unsatisfied with 0 explanation of why the price just crashed the girls night and everyone accepted that as completely normal😅, I thought I was missing something obvious

| Ngl I forgot that the grotesques are not visible to normal people because many of the characters are special. Hearing the Gifted Communion's speech might really be persuading for normal people who lack information and want to protect themselves. But I still cannot connect the group's cause to Usui's background. As someone averse to other people since childhood due to his strong ability - what is the relation of supposedly bestowing powers (that said they develop grotesques/demons too) to inciting disorder to the land? I legit teared up at Hazuki's sharing haha :') Before even being able to communicate something as simple as "You are important to me" to her husband, they were distracted by so many things that are trivial in hindsight. Kaoruko joining via zoom mirror call, amazing. I did not expect Godou being mentioned related to her. I thought it would be Mukadeyama given the previous interactions When the ED played I was like "That's the last scene?!" I was so hooked in the moment haha. It's another level when the prince of the empire is moving to make a couple grow closer lol. I will always enjoy seeing them together, they are very cute. Kudou being very honest with Miyo is helping a lot and I appreciate seeing it. I thought that Arata is being shown as a red herring for the supposed mole in the palace, but the minister's assistant thanking him for his hard work made me ??? I am hoping that he would not really be siding with the enemy. Or if he is, he plans to double-cross him or something. Arata vowing to destroy difficulties in Miyo's way is a parallel to Usui with Sumi before. |

| More time with Kaoruko is an automatic W, even if it's remote. Nice to let the girls have their girls night. Screw this senator dude. No tact in trying to bribe the Miyo family for their powers, and clear hidden motives. Let them be cozy together under the blanket 🥳 bed talk is another W. But she really pulled away last second.. ugh. Ruined the moment. |

| The internal conference between the Prince and the ministers, as well as Takakura trying to identify the traitor for him, whatever means they can take to stop Naoshi Usui, it must be done. With the disparage of the ministers that Takakura sees that anyone of them could be played into the hands of the Gifted Communion, Prince Takaihito has no choice but to concentrate their efforts on where it matters most. On the side, the Ladies' Night with Miyo, Kaoruko, Yurie and Hazuki, alongside the Prince (parading as Takako), he sure fits with his rather womanly facial traits. The experiences of fun and talks of romance in-between certainly helped Miyo adjust better to her new setting, and more with Takaihito having more or less the same foresight ability. Arata finding the Minister of Education and his secretary being lost in the Prince's private quarters, he certainly gave his warning statement, though the former is troubled further no thanks to the Usuba name. And the fight of the couple having their bed be made by the Prince himself, prompting Miyo to question Kiyoka of his stance towards her and romance, though he's not the same man she knew the first time, being more forward than ever. Take your time Miyo, Kiyoka can wait until you get your feelings together :) |
