| Good to see Saki getting her screentime in this episode. Too bad this anime will be going on a break but this episode was anothe decent job for our Shirashi to show his personality again. Kubo is also cute in those glasses. Maybe she should wear them more often... |

| So both of them got sick still the part where Kubo was wondering wether to visit or not was nice. I also liked the study part. And Shiraishi meeting the sister again with the causing this time i guess his worries are growing, and it seems the entire Kubo family can notice him. At least more people are appearing who can start a conversation with him instead of not seeing him at all. |
| Yes yes mister Neutron Star it isn't like you know many people apart from Kubo to begin with so it's still a mystery how you didn't figure it was big sister herself whom you stumbled upon while reading porno, when the resemblance is painfully obvious. But then again there's a mystery even more BIGGER than that, why and how in the world the third sister's acting like she's already head over heels for the dude????? Though keeping this aside for a minute, I'm kinda surprised we checked off our age old cold troupe this early. There should be proper sequence :( Now this is getting delayed and we'll have our next episode some 3 months from now. Not really going to miss as I don't think there were any good parts coming which would've redeemed this epitome of wish fulfilment. |

| There is no doubt now, it would seem that all the people with a strong Kubo gene are able to see our main-kun without any problem ... being that to a advantage to our mc-kun or to a disadvantage is yet to be seen, lmao. And now we have the delay ... yay. |

| So now there's one more person who can sense Shiraishi, other than Kubo herself. Shiraishi getting used to dropping stuff that typical strangers won't sense him usually but that more people do now, and the new character is the Kubo's cousin Saki. Saki being the splitting image of Nagisa, and though Shiraishi hesitates on that reply, he manages to extract the Kubo DNA from Akina through Nagisa's middle school photo. The final exams are coming, and Shiraishi using erasers to detect his presence, it's normal for him. But he needs help in his studies, and Kubo becomes his teacher to teach him about problesms he can't solve, though it's her teasing that he's most worried about, along with his video games. Though Shiraishi would expect to have more time with Kubo, his falling sick wouldn't have made any difference anyways, except for Kubo. And even though her friends did notice that Kubo was fidgeting a lot from his absence, she actually misses him quite fondly. And Shirahis's brother Seita accidentally sending her the "I miss you" stamp, that's a tease on her part as well too supposedly from Akina (but that she sent herself). Shiraishi arriving late for class, and Kubo feeling feverish to head to the nurse's office with no one to lead her, there's only him around to do so. And he did, while almost having a moment with her, his life albeit changing from a background character to a main character. Nice. Now we face the delay push out onto next season. See you Kubo, in Spring. |

| Kubo family is just built different. They can spot Shiraishi easily. Akina teasing Shiraishi and Nagisa was amusing. Shiraishi helping Nagisa was sweet. Now gotta wait till spring for the rest of the episodes. |

| Saki really is the splitting image of Nagisa (for a minute there I thought it was a younger sister that wasn't mentioned until this episode but instead it's a cousin). Seita's mistext almost sent Nagisa into a tailspin until Shiraishi cleared it up. Hopefully Shiraishi being sick doesn't cost him losing his video games due to possible lower grades. It was nice to see Shiraishi step up by walking Nagisa to the nurse's office and now the extended wait begins for the remaining episodes. |
| Its funny seeing Junta such a rep within the class. Akina really knows just how to push Junta's buttons huh. Must be a trait of the Kubo genes that allow them to detect Junta. Its clear where Nagisa got her teasing nature from as well. The Pine exchanges between the two really was cute. That fever really did a number on Nagisa though. |

| Kubo's sister Saki-san getting screentime as well, that was wholesome to see. Kubo & Junta studying together was nice as well, he even wanted to study more with her but he got the fever sadly, after he returned to school Kubo got an fever as well and Junta lend her an shoulder, that shot was too wholesome, loverbirds. Well, see you all in the future. |

| It was nice to see more interactions between Shiraishi and Akane, the teasing is always quite hilarious. We also got to see Saki, who is Kubo's cousin. It's great to see Shiraishi getting noticed a bit more by others. The scene that stood out to me this episode the most was definitely when Kubo got sick, and Shiraishi was there to lend a shoulder, that was a very sweet moment. Too bad that we got to wait three months until the next episode in the Spring, as this show has been one of the better ones of the Winter season so far in my opinion. |

| So it really does run in the Kubo family to be able to notice Junta. Saki also is a splitting image of Nagisa from middle school, if you slightly change her hair colour they would look identical. The part with them both studying in the library was also nice, but I enjoyed the part with Nagisa struggling to figure out what to send to Junta, and she was not expecting that emoji at all. But luckily Junta rectified the misunderstanding. Now its Nagisa who is all ditzy, with the help of Junta she is taken to the infirmary to rest. Another cute moment here. "But I kinda feel like a main character" - Junta. Last words before the delay. It was an honor ladies and gentlemen but alas the delay is upon us and we shall have to endure months without Kubo-san. Bye Bye to one of my anime's of the season, seeya in Spring!! |

| Here we are on the last episode of Kubo before its delay, it was a great one too. The opening bit was cute with Kubo looking out for Shirashi because of his bed head, and the introduction of Saki was very good, she really is just a mini Kubo and she carried on the tradition of Kubos being able to spot Shiraishi, and Akina hooking up Shiraishi with a pic of Kubo in a middle school was funny lol, and that also goes to show how similar Saki looks to Kubo, she even got the pout nailed down. And then came the teaching bit with Kubo sporting those glasses which made it extra cute, and her turning out to be a great teacher was a welcome surprise to Shiraishi, and sadly that promise of studying the next day didn’t come because Shiraishi got sick which surprisingly didn’t include a visit from Kubo but we instead got a cute scene where they both had a sticker blunder through text, Kubo’s not really being a blunder lol. And the final bit with Shiraishi taking Kubo to the nurse’s office was a sweet ending, and also fitting giving why this show was delayed lol. Even if the show hasn’t ended yet I want to say this has been one of my favorite shows of Winter 2023, the delay really sucks but I’m looking forward to its return in spring! I’ll patiently wait so I can get more Kubo and that DIALOGUE+ ED lol. |
| Well, that's it. By the time the anime returns, the manga will be officially over. Just hope this gets a full adaptation, though I kinda doubt it. This kinda shows rarely get fully adapted unless they're uber popular. Well, it was nice to see Saki before the hiatus, at least. If anyone wants to read the manga from the end of this episode, the final part adapted was chapter 22 out of 144 (142 comes out tonight). |

| Studying and getting sick together in this mid-season finale. You know, I'll be sad to see this go for the next several months. It feels like 2023 is slowly shaping up to be the year of romance anime. There are several airing this season as well as the next at least. And while I wouldn't say this is my favorite of those airing this season it certainly isn't my least favorite either. It's cute and relaxing, so to have to put it on hold does make me...well, sad as I said. But it is what it is I guess. Maybe I won't notice its absence, much like Shiraishi's presence itself, or maybe I will. It remains to be seen. |

| Looks like everyone in the Kubo family really has no problem spotting Shiraishi. Seeing the way Kubo acted without him around because he was ill really goes to show how much him being around means to her. Wonder if her feelings are ever going to somewhat mange to get across to him. |

| No home visit when he got sick, but seeing Kubo having doubts what to text him was very cute too. And it also makes this series different enough from Takagi-san, who is also a bit insecure at times, but more in control mostly. So now the wait begins for the rest of the season... |
