I'm not too big on sports, but I like baseball a little bit. I started occasionally watching baseball games when I got into my 20s, but I don't seek it out. If I'm at someone's house, and they have their TV set to a channel that a baseball game is playing on, I'll sit down and watch it. I'd say that my favorite baseball team is the Toronto Blue Jays. I'm Canadian, and they're the only Canadian team these days, so I gotta cheer for them. |

Most of my family is from the East Coast of the USA, more specifically New Hampshire and Maine. I'm not from there, I was born in the west, but it's a cultural thing to be heavily involved in sports in the Eastern part of the USA. So my favorite teams, because I grew up liking them with my family, are Patriots for American Football, Red Sox for Baseball, Celtics for Basketball, Bruins for Hockey, and we can't stand the Yankees or Yankees fans. Also, for Basketball I like the Utah Jazz because I was born in and grew up in Utah, so they are the only major league sports team from my state. |

Manchester United is my #1 favorite. Outside of football (which is the sport that I care a lot about), My favorite baseball team would either be the blue jays or the twins. The former because they are Canadian and the latter because it's my dad's team and he is very passionate about them so it kind of naturally grows. |

began actually watching the NBA little by little after Space Jam was released in theaters but first season i actually saw was 1997-1998, and there were so many interesting teams it was hard to pick one. I absolutely adored the jerseys of Toronto Raptors and Vancouver Grizzlies (even if all my time favorite is the red/black Atlanta Hawks one from the same years for games on the road) and it was sad that the latter never improved until 2001 relocation to Memphis became inevitable. But finally, i chose the Philadelphia 76ers mostly for Allen Iverson, and it was so satisfying to watch their 2001 road to the finals and avoiding to be swept by the Kobe/Shaq Lakers duo. Last time i was thrilled for the team was in 2012 with the upset from the 8th at the Chicago Bulls expense, and it went all downhill from there after the extremely dumb decision to disband that roster and even forse, one year after, hiring incompetent sam hinkie that turned the franchise into a joke and a major example of unsportsmanship conduct for years. The "process" failed and it just feels poetic justice that the 2012 final result was never surpassed, and this is coming from a (long time disillusioned) supporter. Anyway, the NBA overall went worse and worse since the early 2000's even if at the time i was still too young to question shifty happenings as game 6 of the Kings - Lakers 2002 western finals or 2007 controversy that favored the spurs against the Suns. Still convinced that david stern was crooked, corrupt, and have no sympathy for him. Instead, big respect for David Robinson (especially him), Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, but hate gregg popovich and bruce bowen. Just a coach hit by an insane amount of luck and when all his superstars retired or left, he was exposed as not being all that great... when he complained about Pachulia injuring Leonard, it was finally karma reminding to exist considering how much he exploited bowen dirty playing the decade before. And even despite this, my most hated name in the NBA is lbj... the decision from 2010 has shown his true colors, i rooted like hell for Dallas and Dirk Nowitzki in 2011 and enjoyed soooo much his salty rants after game-6 (seen live in the middle of the night considering italian time zone) when he blamed "the greater man upstairs" for deciding it wasn't his moment yet and insulting his haters reminding how they must return soon to their day jobs. He will always be a joke not only compared to Michael Jordan, but also to John Stockton and a lot of other amazing players that never won a ring but always remained class acts and sometimes even loyal to their teams for an entire career. It's been years that i fell out of interest for the league having become softer and softer, and discovered a lot of the major news only by coworkers or relatives. Same goes for the NCAA, where i support the Duke Blue Devils (for its cool logo and a lot of great alumni players), so i have clear memories of 2001, 2010 and 2015 championships. The last one was particularly satisfying when i think about how much the italian basketball press was extremely biased and proud about it in rooting against them, and became depressed after the final game that once again i was able to see live even if it ended at 6 AM. Reading those live comments as "tHe BaD gUyS wOn" "yOu CaN't RoOt FoR tHe BlUe DeViLs..." made everything even more delightful. |

I'm a big fan of Cruz Azul. It's the team that my father always supported, and that consolidated my support when they won the league after 23 years without winning it. Apart from that, I don't know much about other sports, but agreeing with my brother, I would support any team that comes from my country. |

Uhmm, for me that 2012 Sixers against the Bulls was not an upset though. I mean, that team managed to force a game 7 against the big 3 Celtics. The process failed. I cant even imagine how tough the last decade for you is as a Sixers fan. From Andrew Bynum, to Jahlil Okafor, to Nerlens Noel, to Jayson Tatum for Markelle Fultz, to trading Mikal Bridges, to Jimmy Butler, to Kawhi's gamewinner, to Tobias Harris' contract, to James Harden being James Soften. & i never even mentioned the biggest offender of em all!!! I feel so bad for you!!! As a run n gun Suns fan growing up, Screw the Mavs & Spurs!!! |

PSV is my go-to answer when I want to mingle with the soccer bros or at least to not be singled out as an individual sports enjoyer. Where I live now most people don't know PSV. Honestly I don't blame them. No one should be subjected to torture. So, if I'm even asked such a question by some Euroboo (that obviously only cares about Tottenham), I just say Bayern. They both are basically the same after all. |

Not really any specific team fan (at least not for too long), because I'm not from US, so I'm not bound to any city. So it's more about individual players. And Steph Curry is my all time favorite basketball player. He's Tim Duncan 2.0, the perfect franchise cornerstone guy. So currently it's Warriors, they play beautiful basketball. But every era ends. |
