| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I like the premise of this series so far. Loved the OP. The ED ... meh. The animation wasn't as good as I thought it could or should be. I watched the xxxHolic movie first so that may have set me up to be disappointed with the artwork in the series. But that's my only complaint so far. |

| Starting watching the show just because I see some H manga of Yuuki around :P Yea I've seen other CLAMP shows, and this is just as good. But the plot is pretty simple.. |
| So far, I think I'm going to enjoy this anime. I just finished Natsume Youujin-chou, which has a somewhat similar theme. I agree that the art is just "eh," but I can get passed that if the plot is good enough. Let's see if it holds up! |
| kind of a well based concept. nothing new though, sort of reminds me of bleach. the op and ed were great. liked the insight TL notes info at the end of the episode. helped clear some minor questions. |
| Great start man.... just as in the manga.... We get the oversensitive brat that wanna take off his shoulders all the bad things that happens to him... And then he meets with a pair of strange people... First of all a girl that wishes to hear and see ghosts and secondly but not the least, a weird woman... scantily clad in a light kimono, smoking a pipe with who knows what and a pair of strange young girls that completely unmatched the Master... the Woman... Woman named Yuuko Ichihara... a false name... a name we know,,, but it's not her real name.... Man the contrasts between Yuuko's comedic and gluttony and her dark and serious side are extremely big... Noticeable.... It's like the show has two sides... a slice of life side that is easy-going, and the other side.... The philosophical and serious side.... Th side of the show that makes you think... And man... that voice acting makes you put full atention to what they actually say... It's wonderfully made... The art is... okay... not the best but I'm used to CLAMP styles :P Signs, Green |

| Now this looks like a classic story with something good to offer. I've gone and re-watched the first few episodes over and over again, just to drop it seemingly after. This time however, is different. As I am older now, and a little more wise, I will stick it all the way through and look forward to the turn of events and outcomes of this odd seeming mystery. Looking forward to the next! |
| Interesting first episode... I actually didn't mind the art that much, though it'll probably take me a while to get used to seeing characters with no shine in their eyes. (Makes them look dead, in my opinion!) I like this black Mokona. XD Though I liked the white Mokona in Tsubasa Chronicle so no surprise there I suppose~. I didn't like the girl who wanted to see ghosts, though... Whatever being possessed by that weird demon or ghost thing means, I hope she got what she deserved. :\ The contrast between serious bits and more comedic instances was well done, I thought. This series does seem promising, so I'm sticking with it for now~. |
| So today I'm 19. Started this anime today because of the opening song "19Sai" by Suga Shikao which I heard long ago and loved it. I really like this first episode especially the comedy and Watanuki. I just love that he is voiced by my favorite voice actor Fukuyama Jun. I knew of Mokona but I didn't know she's from this anime. She's cute! I won't rush with this since I want to enjoy it. For the first episode 8/10. |

| While the long limbs seem a bit odd at first, they certainly give the show a distinctive touch and add to the fairytale-like feeling in the wish-granting shop. Seeming whimsical at first there are more serious and with no doubt darker aspects that will get revealed later on. |

| Quite interesting start of this Anime, the character design is quite unique as well to have gone a bit overboard with the height, but in general it looks quite nice! Lets see what this Anime can bring us! From this first episode I would rate this Anime a 7/10 |

| I don't usually gripe about art, but man, that was so BAD. Those proportions. Anyway, the humor isn't really doing much for me, but the serious side is fine. I don't know what to think about it yet, I'm more inclined to have a slightly negative opinion of it at the moment because I've recently watched Natsume Yuujinchou which is based around a pretty similar concept and it's just so much better. |

| Well, the 1st episode is quite ridiculous(not that it is a bad thing) and reminds me of Foster's home for imaginary friends. It is quite funny and dark. Definitely gonna watch the next episode. I see a lot of Tsubasa references here.  |

| I had set aside the vision of this series souls aeons ago, but now I come back as they say "the poetic vein". The beginning is interesting, the atmosphere at first funny and then sad, I liked it. The vision of this episode was pleasant overall. You give the information that is not given in the movie and the characters are known. Graphically it is well done and there is not that little captivating CG that I did not like in the movie. The opening and the ending are catchy, the graphic style of this anime series, now I appreciate it much more than many years ago, who knows why. |
