 Tengen was really about to die without saying his final words๐คฃ๐คฃ. All because he tings can't shut up. Nezuko is the true MVP. Tanjiro still managed to show kindness even to Daki and Gyutaro. I love that he made the two siblings reconcile. Bruh I am not saying what the demons do is correct but I don't blame them. These guys had a terrible upbringing and that line "Don't collect from me when you have given me nothing" Hit hard๐ฅถ๐ฅถ. That is literal torture she got burned alive and has been a prostitute since she was a child. Gyutaro was despised by everyone and his mother tried to murder him on multiple occasions. Can you really blame him for hating the whole of humanity and embracing his Darkside. They truly do love each other she could have gone to heaven but chose to go to hell just to stay with her brother๐. What's with this condescending attitude is bro trying to fight??????? Muzan was already pissed at Akaza now that an upper-rank demon has been defeated I am lowkey scared for Akaza and his interaction with Muzan. |

| As usual, we get the backstory of the big baddy once he's dead. Which makes it a waste of time, no reason to get invested in a character who won't appear anymore anyway. After a very good first season, this second season disappointed me on multiple occasions. Daki seemed like a cool Upper Six, but in the end she was just a whiny little sister of an Upper Six. Nezuko got barely any screentime, despite being the best character in this show. Also the plot armor for the demon slayer party was just waaaaaaay too strong, either kill off some characters or don't bring them into impossible situations, but don't hint of them dying only for all to make it out alive anyway. Art and animation (and Nezuko) are really the things which save this anime from being mediocre. 7/10 |
| Damn! Ninjas cutting onions again! ๐ญ๐ญ Thank God I'm all alone so no one could see me crying. I feel so sorry for Gyuutarou and his past. I believe he turned out to be the way he was because of how he was treated since he was a child. Even his own mother wanted him dead. Then, Ume/Daki was born and that lifted his spirits! I believe it made him proud to have such a beautiful sister. Someone he would protect—who relies on his strength. He really loves Daki because she's the only one who loves him. I'm relieved the siblings made it up in the end. That was a bittersweet ending really. They may be in hell, but at least they're together. Daki could've chosen the light way but she chose her brother. He deserved it that much. I'm rating this 10! |

| great season, wouldve been better if it were more like the train arc (less annoyances). as what others have said, the pacing fell apart any time they did a flashback. tanjiro should also be nerfed since hes always got plot armor, like for example someone coming to his rescue (low chance, most hashiras hate him) instead of unlocking a new ability all the time. that snake guy was sent as a reinforcement but prolly was hoping theyd all die and he could take on the weakened demons wonder whats in stores next season, prolly a recap, rehab, and recycle. hopefully they break out of the cycle |

| It's been a while since I've seen ufotable, and as such, it's also been a while since I've seen them flex their art and animation. Their work is really a feast for the eyes. It's crazy how many things went wrong for Tanjirou and friends throughout this arc. It's even more absurd how many things went right despite all the things going wrong. It felt like every time things seemed to be the most dire, a sudden appearance, power-up, or surprise intervention saved everyone from dying outright. I suppose it's on par with the type of story Demon Slayer seems to be: one where hard work and determination gets you through any unsurmountable situation. In that regard, I don't have particular complaints, but damn if miracle upon miracle didn't bless the crew one after another. I had conflicting thoughts about the demons getting humanized and sympathetic stories post-defeat in prior episodes. In some respects, these stories at least explains their personalities and decisions, though at times the stories feel like they're attempting to partially justify the demons' murders. Then again, they'd most likely lead lives of violence and whatnot regardless. I like how it's not entirely clear whether we're supposed to feel bad for them or not, but at the very least, through Tanjirou, we can at least empathize with them. Well, at least before they're beheaded with great amounts of gusto. I guess defeating demons is still considered a sort of mercy kill at this point? It still feels weird that we get these sympathetic stories at the very end, that way we don't feel guilty about watching a fully fleshed out villain get killed off. Instead, we have unapologetic villains fight their hearts out, only to turn into grieving, sobbing messes by the end. I guess upon near-death, they regain their human memories, and as such, we see though their previous lives flash before their eyes, so it makes sense. I just wonder how different it'd be if Tanjirou actually knew the back story of the demons he's slaying. Would he hesitate to kill a tragic villain? Would he try to reach out to help them, much like how he's trying to help his demonic sister? It'd be an interesting character challenge that would tear at Tanjirou emotionally as opposed to physically. Well, regardless, that was a short and sweet arc, and it was a hell of a blast. |
| They finally defeated them. But the entire area is in rumbles. They went over their limits in fighting. It was very hard fought battle. Tanjiro never gave even if the upper rank demon is in front of him. Its amazing Nezuko was able to clean the poison. Glad all of them survived as they were near death. Tengen may have lost an eye and a hand, he survived fighting an upper rank and decided to retired. Good on him unlike Rengoku. It was amazing watching the 2nd season. The first half was kinda meh but the later half when the fight starts it got better. Amazing high quality fight scenes as expected of Ufotable. 2nd season is done. It's time to move on to the 3rd season. |

| Late reply since I finished it a long time ago, but this episode was great. The backstory has to be one of the best in the series so far. Really digs deep into the dark history of Japan without being to in the face and you genuinly feel for the siblings. Redeems the entire subpar season tbh lol. Still how season 2 is considered > then season 1 is beyond me |
