| Agreed, anime you've watched as a kid should not count. Since I highly doubt you watched it all. If you've put that in your list, then your just lying to yourself. But I was 14, if I remember correctly. A friend recommended me an anime. Obviously, skeptical at first. Elfen Lied didn't seem that nice but got stuck on it and now 17-18 years later, here I am... Holy hell I'm old... Feels like I'd start to cry soon... |

| I was around the age of 17 or 18 when I started to watch Anime. And no, I don't think age has anything to do with how you watch and enjoy Anime, the only thing that would do anything against how you watch and enjoy Anime. Are the way you are thinking and setting up walls infront of you. I'm 29, oof. and I enjoy everything a lot of Anime with the age of G is extremly good. People at young age would never give this shows ago, as they are setting up walls in their head. ( it's not shine, it's no fighting, it's old, it's only female cast, it's not new gen etc etc ) |

| About 15 or 16. I'm 26 now. Can't really remember how I got into it, exactly. I think I didn't even know what it was, but ended up trying it on Netflix. Can't even remember what my very first anime was....my memory sucks. |

| I’ve seen some Ghibli movies over the years and watched a bit of Pokémon with some friends in college but otherwise nothing. Until 6 months ago when I decided to watch Attack On Titan and became fully obsessed with anime to an insane degree and have watched nothing but anime every spare moment since then. I’m 41. If you’d told me a year ago I’d become obsessed with anime I’d have thought you were crazy, but here we are. Some people have weird mid-life crises I suppose. I really regret sleeping on anime all these years. It’s absolutely amazing and I’m loving every minute of it! |
