I trimmed down your post to the more relevant parts... #1 Anime girls are often the author's/artist's idealized version of a female. Many are made to be perfect in some way, sometimes in many ways. Visually, personality, mannerisms, etc. are all things that are used to draw in viewers/readers. In this case, I'd say it worked on you. #2 Your idea of "perfection" is pretty limited if you've only seen a small number of shows. Watch more. There is a pretty good chance that you'll find another character that could put Alice to shame. #3 With enough shows under your belt, I'm certain you'll find multiple characters that you'll really like. Get enough of those girls and you'll find it harder to pick just one. Not impossible, but likely harder. There are many characters I like, but despite how nearly perfect one may be, there's always going to be another character that is more perfect in one trait or another. So I don't/can't pick just one. Having more than one you really like makes it so much easier to not obsess over the first one that really caught your eye. #4 Fantasize all you like about anime girls, but don't lose sight of reality. As appealing as they can be, anime characters will never curl up with you at night, they won't make you your favorite meals, they won't give you a massage after a long day of work/school, etc, etc. Escaping to their world to hang out with them is nice, but it's only 1 episode at a time, and eventually the series ends. Bear that in mind and it can help keep you from "going off the deep end" as some might say. I hope that helps. |
