| My limit was 9 hours and its only because I was travelling by train and I wanted to forward in time as fast as possible. But except this I usually do only 4-5 episodes per day not more (5*20= 100 mins max per day for me usually). |

| I remember back in 2018 when I used to download anime I watched Death Note over the span of 36 hours and I've watch different anime titles for at-least 3 days within the same year, given I took breaks and did household tasks as well. And, for your follow-up question if Death Note counts then, yes. I'll probably never try a feat like that again cause it was pretty exhausting and I don't have the time to do something like that again. |

But if you ask if some gamer spent more than 12 hours playing games, it is another history. That is why anime fans here seems to be less stupid than gamers. | I tried to watch as much anime in one day as i possibly could for the lulz one time. I think my record was 48 episodes. Skipping OPs and EDs, most anime are around 21 minutes long so the theoretical limit should be around 65 episodes for a single day, so I think it was pretty impressive. I felt like I wanted to die by the end of it though. Not that anyone really cares lul. |
| Probably just Oniisama e. Did the 39 episodes in 3 or 4 sessions. A year later I got the urge to rewatch just the first 5 or so episodes but ending up binge-ing the whole thing once more in 4 sessions. It easily holds my #1 & #2 spots for longest binge sessions. Other series I went nuts on but in shorter 6 or 7 episode-long sessions was the Chihayafuru franchise, Maria-sama ga Miteru franchise, Space Battleship Yamato 2199, Legend of the Galactic Heroes & the Hibike! Euphonium franchise. |

| When I first got into anime and for the first three years or so that was me. I've been watching anime for 10 years now and I don't do that anymore. I won't say never say never because I may do it again somewhere down the line if I find something worth watching like that, but it's unlikely to happen now days. Oh and just for the record... my record was watching all 103 episodes of D.Gray-man straight through with no sleep. I was awake for like 42 or 43 hours just watching anime and only stopping for the occasional bathroom break. That was back in 2012 (I started actively watching anime in 2011). I also did a marathon of One Piece and caught up to the then 543 episodes in 17 days. So yeah, I over did it back them. I was in my 20's back then and could do that. I'm 33 now and I can't imagine being able to do that (I have osteoarthritis now and when my arthritis is bothering me sitting for that long, or laying for that long, isn't a good idea). |
