3 (Characters) An anime is only as good as its characters and good characters are needed in a good story.

4 (Animation) How well the anime was animated.

[1] (The worst of the worst) if i rate an anime this low then I did not enjoy it one bit and I wish I could forget I watched it and that it never existed. Would recommend as a torturer device. Example: (Pupa)

[2] (Horrible) did not enjoy but still not the worst. Would not recommended watching. Example: (Corpse Party: Tortured Souls)

[3] (Very Bad) may have enjoyed a few parts but overall a bad experience. Example's:(Magical Girl Site, Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka)

[4] (Bad) May have had something going for it but plot, characters or animation were bad. Example's: (Riddle Story of Devil, School Live)

[5] (Average) Not bad but not good either. Example's:(The Testament of Sister New Devil: Burst,Blade Dance of the Elementalers)

[6] (Fine) Above average found to be worth the watch. Example's: (Angle Beats!,Happy Sugar Life)

[7] (Good) Enjoyed watching would recommend giving it a shot. Example's: (Akame ga Kill!, Magical Girl Raising Project, My Hero Academia)

[8] (Very Good) A very enjoyably experience recommend watching. Example's: (Heaven's Lost Property,High School DxD,Gleipnir,Rent-A-Girlfriend)

[9] (Amazing) Almost perfect had a blast watching and would highly recommend watching. Example's: (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann,Heaven's Lost Property: Forte,The Future Diary)

[10] (A MASTERPIECE) No buts about it if I rate an anime this high I think it was perfect and I loved watching it. Recommend to everyone I meet and recommend you watch it you wont regret it. Example's: (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-,Kill La Kill,Higurashi)
