| yakomaru had a point and I kinda agree with him but his methods were wrong. shishio makoto was actually right, the meiji government was weaker than him and deverved to be destroyed, like he said "jakku niku kyou shoku", the weak die, the strong live. the only bad thing suitengu did was indirectly killing criminals and scumbags, and causing a teen girl to be raped, but other than that he had a sad story |

| Akainu from One Piece and Pain from Naruto are the first ones i have in mind. Alphard from Canaan (is she even a villain? Maybe not). Accelerator (but he is more of an Anti-Hero) and Father/Homunculus of FMAB. But after those few animes i watched, I'm sure to have forgotten some. |

| Muruem from HxH - I love the character development of this villian throughout the series. Takasugi Shinsuke from Gintama - I love his development and how he is such an "untouchable" character in Gintama. This is that one character in Gintama who is the defining reason why Gintama have to turn into a serious shounen anime instead of just purely a gag anime. Zeref from Fairy Tail - No development from this character. He is downright evil but its his background that made me gain my sympathy. Utsuro from Gintama - Same reasons as Zeref; would have never existed if Gintama would just be a gag show. xD |

| a lot of index villain's have understandable goals, but sadly the anime often butchered them. pandora's hearts the Baskervilles are extremely sympathetic especially when you get to later arcs that the anime didn't get to. Warning Major pandora's heart spoiler if you've only seen the anime do not read if you don't want to be spoiled. Degwin Sodo Zabi is sort of sympathetic you can really tell that he realizes what monsters his daughter and son had become, but hes to old and weak to do anything about them and is just along for the ride at that point. oh almost forgot the knights form nanoha A's and Fate form nanoha season 1 although I guess they are not really villians |

| Light Yagami - Death Note, kind of the same as kira to be honest Kira Yoshikage - Jojo's, how he had charisma to get you on his side and think like he does even tho he is a complete and utter degenerate serial killer Johan Liebert - Monster, when you learn his backstory it really hits hard... Garou - One punch man, goes against the grain with everyone in the story, basically a one man army against everyone that tries to prove he isn't wrong ( or get people to understand both sides of the story ). |
