Favorite song - Rondo of nightmare (mischiefs of god intro) Live & Akatsuki live Ningen Isu - Another Japanese metal band. Band Maid - More alt rock/alt metal ish. Wagakki band - Fusion of classic Japanese music and rock. Favorite song - Bougetsu SCANDAL - pop/rock. | While the song Sukiyaki Kyu Sakamoto was featured during one scene in From Up on Poppy Hill, it was because of the song's cultural significance in post-war era Japan and not due to the affiliations we see in anime today. I really like this song, completely unironically. I think it could a contender for 'catchiest melodies that are easy to whistle to.' |
