| It depends on the anime because these are all portrayed as joke or comic relief. The other way cannot be shown as a joke or comic relief because women are physically weak and thus more vulnerable than men as much as it IRL. But there are serious ones as well (although few, and I am not referring to Yaoi). And when they are shown as serious ones, they cut deep, or at least they should, in the conscience of a normal human being at least irrespective of the victim being male or female. Anyways, not a topic I really want to be part of discussion more than I have just said. |

| In anime/manga that isn't hentai (rape is for those into non consent play) I don't really see this that common or it really played for laughs. In society I agree people condemn sexist stereotypes but still will often apply them to men. One of the biggest is this image that men can't be victimized in any sexual way or want it. That's more a societal issue than anything not something I have seen often in anime/manga at all. |

| It should be treated with the same levels of sensitivity that it would have been had it been the other way around, but unlike with women, there's always a larger proportion of men out there that seem to find it more acceptable because the guy should somehow be more grateful for the attention. For example, when you see an article on social media about a moderately attractive female teacher thats sexually abused one of her male students, there's always a smattering of men that will say "I wish those teachers were around when I was at school." |
