i wonder if any of you have been shot or knifed before
if so, what was your sensation?

well, the worst pain i've ever felt is getting stitched without anesthesia
thankfully it lasted only for minutes
otherwise i might actually pass out from pain

Back in 2003, I got a wart on the bottom of my foot. I went to a foot doctor to check it out. They stabbed this giant needle into it (which was the painful part), then froze it with chemicals and removed it with a laser. There was literally a hole in my sole. lol. Not long after, seven more warts returned in its place. (Sounds like some ancient curse, but it was because it was viral. That's why they couldn't give me antibiotics.) This time, my mom used a Q-tip-like device to freeze them off, which hurt even more.

That was not the worst pain I've experienced. Describing that would reveal too many dark and personal things about my past. Let's just say I've bled a lot.

Easy. I was menstruating and forgot my medicine home. The pain was so bad I wanted to die. It was during a school day too, so I had to excuse myself from the class and just sit on the toilet and hold myself together until the worst was over. Fortunately it's not as painful every time but that was definitely the worst.

Do not underestimate menstruation pains, kids.

This one time I got a bladder stone, fuck, it was the worst pain I think I'll feel in my life, at least I hope so. I could feel that cursed thing going down through my dick while scratching everything on its way, it's goddamn awful. 1/10 would not recommend.

I shot myself in the thigh with a .22 Short round from a pistol when I was 12. A .22 Short round isn't much more powerful than a BB gun, but it still embedded itself a centimeter or so in there.

Another time, around the same age I fell down 2 stairs and broke my arm so bad that there was a large lump under the skin where the bone was trying to poke through. I don't remember this hurting that much though since I think I was in shock.

Those things taught me to be more careful, haven't had a serious injury since.

I haven't bled out or anything like that, but a couple years ago my heart would start throbbing and pain shot through it whenever I took a breath, this happened for about 2 months randomly but went away. I never found out why.

Getting a severed nerve during surgery, a dog claw going through my eyelid into my eyeball but the worst without any out was meningitis. 3 solid weeks or pass out pain, I literally couldn't move, eat or drink anything as it felt like I had an elephant standing on my head and body.

I don't remember my childhood stuff but i've had broken arm, cement sprayed in my eye (which required a needle in the other eye to fix), an extra tooth that had to be taken out, a 2meter long glass fell on top of me and stabbed my leg (and left a scar that looked like our country, geographically) had glasses pierce my shoe soles and get stuck in me and the list goes on

i prolly had like 1 or 2 major incidents every year before i became a pathetic shut in garbo kid

and then when i became a pathetic shut in i started feeling mental pain instead so depression here depression there , which later translated into some CUTS and some near -death pseudo sewerside attempt-os

i had a lot of stuff so i can't even remember most of it but the most recent thing which i DO remember is like a few weeks/month(S?) ago i was **extremely depressed** (even more than now) so i thought i need to figure out a new way to deal with things since games don't do any more and i went to the store and bought a bottle of wine (and i was hungry cus i didnt eat all day and apparently ur not supposed to drink wine when you're hungry) so i drank the entire bottle without stops cause when i drink i usually just do it till there's no more alcohol or i pass out (and i never drink except when i wanna die owo)..
.. so what happened after was, i had my foobar blasting pururin (cus the song is like the 2nd best most depressive song cus of what it represents cus of the anime itself and the situation and the way i could relate) on repeat and on max volume but i pretty much collapsed and was semi-conscious at best and could barely even look, i couldn't stand so i was laying anywhere i could find and feeling like complete and utter shit with my eyes almost entirely shut and the sound of pururin piercing my soul while i had the worst stomach pain and nausea i've ever felt. After a few minutes of suffering (which turned out to be like 30 min later when i checked) i finally mustered enough power to crawl to the bathroom where i puked all over the floor and it was all red and chunky (even tho i ate nothing so i have no clue wtf was that, the red was prolly from the wine) and the entire floor was like a red river while i could still hear pururin blasting through

so yeah some time spent puking, i went back to my bed then i recovered some more energy to finally hit the X mark on the music player and then i fell asleep and later that night i fixed myself slowly

that was pretty bad

do not recommend
lots of music -

I had a pilonidal cyst 3 years ago. At first it didn't hurt that much, but once it became infected, it was really painful. I couldn't sit or lay on my back. The worst were the 2 weeks after the surgery. It was really painful and I had to change my bandage, which only added to the pain.

I can think of three cases:

- when I was a little, I suffered once from gastroenteritis which caused me severe abdominal pain
- got stung by jellyfish in my hand and chest at the same time 7 years ago

For me, it was an ovarian cyst burst. It felt like someone was literally stabbing me in the pelvis. Lemme tell you though, I had the best pee (and longest) of my life that day. Split into multiple trips, that is. I had to drink 12+ little cups of water just to get my bladder full enough to do an ultrasound after refusing a catheter. Yeeks. Have you ever had someone press on your full bladder with an instrument before? That was torturous.

All in all, it was the only time it happened, and would not wish it on anyone.

That PCOS menstrual pain... Every month... I think that's the worst. Probably because it lasts more than just a few minutes/hours and instead a couple days non stop. As for lesser things-
I did sprain my ankle once and fainted after that lol. The doctor said it was the worst sprain he'd ever seen :(
Been stabbed deliberately with a sharpened pencil before. I've also slammed my fingers into And then recently I was in a really bad car accident and had to have my ribs relocated and that hurted.

A broken heart.
Oh? Physical? In that case, I've twisted both my ankles (luckily never both at the same time) several times, I think my record is 5 times in one month. Re-twists hurt like hell.

Maybe I was subconsciously feeling spontaneously masochistic? But it was just an accident, it was a older revolver without the bar safety mechanism so if you leave the hammer resting on a loaded cylinder it can go boom under some circumstances.

In rural parts of the US it is common to have kids go plinking for fun, usually under adult supervision, but pops was always on the negligent side, lol.

I had my Achilles cut and it took 2 years before I could go down a step or kerb on that leg. To top it off, I also had my bone shaved on both ankles at the same time, try walking, even with crutches after that!

People don't realise your whole body weight goes through that tendon and how much it affects you if it isn'y working properly.

A few years ago I got a staph infected abcess on my hand. I had red lines traveling up the veins in my arm, the pain was so great that I couldn't use my hand for anything.

Finally, I went to the doctor, and she took care of it. Lancing and Antibiotics were all I needed. But boy did it ever hurt. I described it as an '8' on the pain scale.

I'm kind of a pussy, but let's see. I tried to flip an egg once on a pan, and the whole egg landed on my right hand and caused a large blistering burn. Man, I kept ice on that and tried to sleep it off, but I actually woke up from the pain when the ice melted. That was frustrating. After nearly 12 hours of not being able to sleep, and trying different substances, it turned out that topical aloe actually worked pretty well. It lasted for 4 hours, which was a lot better than the 15-30 minutes for the ice pack.

The second contender would be when I got into a car accident, and the nail to my left thumb was shattered, so they had to pull it out and scrub all the dirt from it. At first they were able to numb out specific fingers by injecting a bit of tranquilizer on the left and right of the base of the finger. But for some reason the second nurse didn't really want to do that. Man, that hurt like fuck. Then they threaded some special stitch that's thicker and takes longer to decay underneath that. I don't want to think about it.

One time I had a surgery in my face and they used nitrous oxide to numb me out. But half way through the surgery, when they pulled my mouth open, I felt a sharp pain. Probably not as bad as it would have without the NO. But the scary part is I wasn't able to tell them or anything. I was conscious but I had no control over my body. So if it hurt I'm shit outta luck.

One time my ex said she wasn't into Asian men anymore. Like damn, you hate me, but you hate my race too? Ouchies. But seriously, the others probably hurt more than this.

When I was on high school. Me and my friends were competing on who could jump the longest (Long Jump)

It was my turn. I sprinted as fast as I could and jumped with everything I got, then my bestfriend who was standing on the sides thought it was a good idea to grab my foot mid-air.
With all that acceleration while on midair, my face was going to smash the ground first. I instinctively covered my face and shelled up making my knee smash the ground first.

It's up to you to imagine how painful that was.
It broke my kneecap, the bone infront of the knee (patellar fracture), and I was brought to the hospital with a stretcher. I was crippled and missed the class for 1 whole month.

As for my bestfriend? Well he's my bestfriend, so it's all good.

When I was 12, I was one of many kids that had a BMX bike with the ridiculous pegs sticking off the wheels (Example). Anyway, long story short, I was riding down a hill one day at full speed, hit a tree stump, went flying, the bike came down on me hard and one of the back pegs went right into my leg. Not completely through that it was poking out the other side, but enough that it it took an EMT to dislodge it and stop the bleeding. The pain was excruciating to say the least. I've not felt anything like it since.

I was never shot or stabbed before, but the worst physical pain I have even felt was when I was young, and me and a friend of mine were playing outside on a winter day and we both fell down on the snow and she fell with her butt on my left arm and broke it. It was really painful, and I had to have a cast on my arm for 3 weeks.

When I was a teenager, I hurt my back one night because of an incident that happened earlier that day. The pain was so bad, it woke me up from my sleep.

I was pretty much crippled for a few hours. So any activity that added pressure to my spine could not be accomplished.
Sleep? Forget about it
Sitting down? Forget about it
Walking? FORGET ABOUT IT
The only thing I could do was stand on my own two feet, which couldn't be done for long periods of time because I was way too sleepy already.

It took all my strength, both mentally and physically, to walk from my room to my parent's room and wake my mom in the middle of the night just to get me some pain medicine. I couldn't even make it to the kitchen on my own, that's how excruciating the pain was. My brain felt like it was going to shut down just simply trying to make it back to my bedroom.

Bless my mother's heart, such a sweet lady to have stayed with me for a couple of more hours to make sure everything was ok, knowing she has work early in the morning.

A recipe for a pie mentioned that the crust had to be baked in a pan, in an oven. My friend and I really wanted to give it a shot so we baked it. We were three people in the kitchen and we were cooking a few things at the same time. When my friend took the pan out of the oven he put it in an awkward spot so I grabbed it to move it out of the way.

Of course I forgot that the pan had been sitting in the oven for an hour.

The pan was so hot it felt like the handle was cold. It was a brief, "white pain" that instantly burned my hand.

My skin was white for the first two minutes and then the pain REALLY hit me hard. To make a long story short, I didn't sleep that night and I was crying like a little baby in my bed the whole time. It was so far the absolute worst physical pain I ever felt and that's coming from a guy who smashed his left index finger to pieces with a sledgehammer.

Emotional pain I've felt is many times worse than physical pain I have had but I guess that isn't what you're looking for even though emotional pain is perceived almost the same as physical pain.

Worst physical pain is maybe when I got sunburnt so bad it seemed to be a sun poisoning. I had this deep painful itch that kept moving around my back that drove me nuts. That or all the times I had my shin hit bumping into a coffee table and the time I've been kicked in the crotch by a high school friend being an idiot. I vaguely recall stepping on a nail as a kid that went into my foot but don't evem remember how it felt or if that really happened.

It was a really really really shitty diarrhea which almost gave me Rectal Prolapse. It burned, my goodness, it burned. I was literally screaming trying to shit every 3 minutes and the shit just won't come out and whenever it did it burned.

The other time was when I ate too many chickpeas and woke up in the middle of the night, and spent the next 3 hours in the toilet just farting and trying to get all the gas out. That night, I learned how much gas you can actually accumulate (or maybe it kept producing? idk) but whatever it was, it was fucking painful.

I got into a fight over a friend about drugs, crack mixed with alcohol specifically, when I was a teenager. Not much was left and he spilled that shit. One thing led to another, and he managed to stab me pretty bad on my left shoulder. Blood everywhere. Was so damn painful. Not that he was left unharmed either so it wasn't one-sided or anything.

Maybe that time when my left lung was shanked and punctured was the most painful? Man I felt like I was being burned and suffocated on the inside constantly. Fuck that was not a good time. Maybe it was where I was that but that shit was breaking me down a lot more than my left shoulder getting stabbed.
