| I do think that having more than 5 starts to become a pain for people who see your profile and they're not gonna look like they'd look if you have more than 5. it kinda makes it feel like being a favourite isn't as big a thing as it'd be if you have less than 5, like people who rate everything 10/10 and 9/10. but hey they do what they want. |

| I have people contacting me who click through and look through my top 100+ list of characters. Which is awkward as I've barely updated it this year. Top 10 in comparison is nothing. And even if noone looked at them bar myself I wouldn't care - there certainly isn't anything wrong with someone creating a favourites list that noone bar themselves would see. I'd sooner question what was wrong with someone who believed that there was (and yes, I know you only made the title for clickbait purposes). |

| When I looking at people's profiles I always expand to see their top 10. If they're a supporter and list 20 favourites I usually ignore the ones past 5 just because it's too much effort to look at them. With all of the anime I've seen 5 anime isn't really enough to represent my favourites. |
