| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, another episode with more background storytelling. I fully expected this as this series already showed that. The interesting part to take notice this time is that the episode focuses more on Yoshino. I find him the type of guy that's hard to make friend with especially considering his personality. |

| This team likes hiding their true feelings, don't they? Shunsuke's cat has similar eyes to him. I guess that was a visual cue to say how he is like a cat. On the matter of Yuu being called a pervert, it is going to be about My Melody! I have no doubt about that. |

| This episode was...lol. The drama once again, is a bit overdone, or more than a bit this time around. Shunsuke is surprisingly immature, but glad he was able to face forward, with the help of his friends, ofc. I'm not really interested in the other two, but maybe the next two episodes will surprise me. Although I'm already not getting a good vibe from the blonde kid with that cliffhanger. |

| Well that was kind of lame. It seems like his character does a complete 180 and he's apparently dense now. |

| My watching while thinking too critically/analytically because this isn't really targeted towards me continues~ Ugh. I was not feeling this episode's formulaic melodrama. Shuunsuke is a character I really can't bring myself to like. There's not dimension to him that has me rooting for him. He isn't likeable. He's like a tsundere but it's just this stoic dude so eh. He needs an embarrassing or weird thing, because having the hello kitty thing as a good luck charm that some girl (this part was left very vague btw) gave him is too normal and inconsequential. I don't care about the god damn soccer team and the obvious arc of "learning to share / rely on others" didn't have me invested. This episode just happened out of a certain obligation to get all of the characters their own emotional arc and it's far too obvious. Also the "yoroshiku onegai shimasu fixes literally everything" was weird too. But okay, that's out the way with. I am kind of interested to see what happens with the little blonde brat and the perfect president guy. Their gay tension has been hilarious so far but maybe there's a story here that can actually be interesting. They've been totally unconnected to the main 3 and lacked in screen time so it'll be important to give these characters a chance... |
