That was a very rough encounter for Juri but at least she survives.

A pretty thrilling episode as I had expected again. The supernatural powers that can really make a difference between life and death. I actually feel bad for the uncle at this point since he is still feeling despair after what he's been through.

That was a very nice episode the cliffhanger keeps me wondering about what will happen next.
Yuri got a new power and a powerful one from the looks of it.
It's also seems the one pulling the strings with the enemy liked to sacrifice people in order to experiment with the powers they got.

The Herald is kinda look like IBM from Ajin.
Anyway, this kind of anime is kinda perfect for live-action adaptation.

So...''The Herald'' gets smaller everytime it gets rid of someone. Does that mean that eventually you'll be able to harm ''The Stalled'' without repercussion?

The jellyfish was about to go out of Tsubasa's body for a moment, that's interesting, what did he think in that situation?

So Juri has the ability to manually stop people and turn them into Stasis. The time-stop game just got more interesting. I like to think there are more "Heralds" out there than just the one that is shrinking. There has to be something to maintain balance for the Stasis, and I speculate that people and sacrifice are forcibly involved with the creation of "Heralds".

Another interesting epd. What's the trick behind Gramps teleport? He just thinks about a place he would rather be, looks at it, and he is there lol. Great cliffhanger.

Btw the OP is also great to me.

Spoiler for the preview, I know I sometimes avoid these so thought best to put it in a box.

OP's OK, it's the ED I find weird. Seems like it's for a totally different genre of show. Would fit a yuri show nicely.

Another interesting episode with another surprising and dramatic cliffhanger: frankly, it would be a far more clever strategy for these guys to act like the Stalled until they can get the kill, as you would never see it coming. Other than that, I wonder how much longer Tsubasa and Makoto can continue to avoid trouble, as it's surely only a matter of time until they run into one of the guys who wants them dead.

Here's hoping that this series at least becomes more intriguing later, because rn its just a game of cat and mouse between the Yukawa family and the "bad guys"

I like these types of series. This kind of reminds me of Blast of Tempest for some reason. Like it's a series that I could easily see as a live action.

So Juri entered a state where she can forcibly remove the jellyfish, called Specters. And Makoto woke up like I figured. That scene was cute, well as cute as this series can get anyway. Turns out we didn't get more flashbacks though, not really anyway. Why do I get the feeling whatever "deal" is offered to the dad will come back to bit them in the ass? Second episode in a row where we end on a Juri being killed cliffhanger and it's still obviously a fakeout. I figured that guy was only pretending to be frozen just by his design, as soon as I saw him. Unfortunately the preview seemed to potentially spoil Makoto getting killed next episode though, hope that's just misleading because it would be a huge downer. But we'll see.

So Juri awakened a power that allows her to turn a person into one of the Stalled. That could be pretty useful down the line.

Looks like Makoto finally woke up but him running around like this might get him and Tsubasa in trouble. That behavior is expected from a kid his age, but if he isn't careful he and Tsubasa will run into the wrong people eventually.

I had a bad feeling about the sunglasses dude and it looks like I was right. That's a pretty good tactic, pretending to be one of the Stalled so he could blindside Juri. It ended the episode on a cliffhanger worthy of the "To be continued" Jojo meme, but it's clearly a fakeout since Juri looks fine in the preview.

Makoto sounds like the kind of kid who could create a mess into the still world if he was really left loose.
But so far he's more quick and reasonable than his ungle.

There were some signs the time jellifish into Tsubasa was unstable and could leave.

This how I reckon how Juri is saved. Either by her brother or nephew (or maybe even her sister who we haven't seen for a while). Both Juri and her grandfather have powers so I bet the rest do.

So those jellyfish are called Specters and they help people move around in Stasis. Without it, you'll become a Stalled. Very cool. Got to learn more about The Herald. It's slowly heading towards its limit. Makoto finally woke up after a Specter went inside him and started playing around. That cliffhanger though...

Juri can kick people out of stasis... it seems she can control that power.
I wonder if the specters are attracted to that family, or if it just went where someone was out-of-place.

Weird feeling of déjà vu with that tree thing "shrinking"... I feel like I've seen something like this before.

Yeah, Juri got the power, interesting how the especter was taken from someone bad to get in a innocent boy. So the Herald slowly fades away everytime he gets rid of someone? The gang clearly will use it in them favor and Oji-chan, LET HER FIGHT, SHE GOT THE FREAKING POWER!

Whoa these cliffhanger are really something! Anyway even the show going with slow paced but I felt like 5 minute. The suspense keeps getting intense! I really liked that playboy kid. He is so amusing to watch and taking advantage. And the way they use that guy as experiment(to check whether the beast appears) was terrifying. So one dies in this alternate world which is kinda feel great since I think there is no chance of tragic ending :P

Personally really loving this show's suspense and consistency.

I think it nearly occurred because Tsubasa felt he doesn't belong to that world and desired to leave, so the jellyfish proceeded to do so

What the hell, why you cut it right in the decisive moment....hahaha, I really enjoy Kokkoku, this show is really interesting and I'm really curious with the mystery of the Stone.
So if someone who isn't the Stasis die, his or her Specter can make one of the Stasis can move again?? And Juri's power is a badass one if she can control it well, it's cool though.

Why am I having a feeling that throughout the show they will be in Stasis? Jeez. Good episode, though. Nice, Juri, got a power to remove a person in Stasis their "jellyfish" in their body and be one of the Stalled. Hahaha. So weird with the jellyfish, idk what to call those.

Glad Makoto and Tsubasa-san are safe. I hope they'll be safe, they're the bringer of light in this show's theme. Haha. Ki o tsukete!

So fucking happy that the OP is finally available on iTunes, now I can play it as much as I want to! :)

I wonder if that Herald will turn into a human being once it gets smaller. Haha. So curious with it. Gaaah.

So many possible things to do while in Stasis, I'm so fucking jealous with these folks. Haha.

5/5. :D

Off-tangent remark. I like the fight scenes, but I know this show has nothing to do with brawls. In particular how the hired muscle tried to approach their prey meekly and then surround them, or how one bright spark got the idea to lay an ambush by pretending to be affected by stasis.

I don't even understand how someone can score an episode 3/5 based solely off a fight taking up less than a minute of the show and has nothing to do with the show genres.

In any case, natural fights between the untrained are supposed to be quick, frustrating, clumsy and irratic (unless it's a shounen fight show), it's not a Bruce Lee or samurai Flick...
Nothing can happen until you swing the bat.
