 The official website of Drifters anime series has announced that the previously announced sequel will be released as unaired episodes 13 and 14 in a Blu-ray disc on December 23. Tomoaki Maeno (Death Parade) will join the cast as new character Banzelmasin Shylock VIII (pictured).Drifters adapts the manga of the same name by Kouta Hirano. It has been serialized in Young King OURs magazine since April 2009. The series currently has five compiled volumes in print, with the latest published on June 6. Director Kenichi Suzuki said in September that the sequel anime series would start with a release of episodes 13 and 14 on DVD and Blu-ray Disc. Also the card at the end of the anime specifically said 2nd Season and I doubt 2 episodes can be considered a new season. I might be completely mistaken but MAL seems to agree with me as they're making a separate entry for the 2 new episodes. |
