 The wraparound band on the 12th volume of light novel Overlord, which goes on sale on Saturday, has revealed that the previously announced second season will premiere in January 2018. Madhouse will remain as the animation studio for the series.Overlord is written by Kugane Maruyama with illustrations by so-bin. | Nice.I am really looking forward for the second season of Overlord as the first season of it was one of the best anime of 2015 so i hope that the second season will not disappoint me also i want to ask LN readers that is this series gets way better in the next arcs(after completion of season 1 arcs) or will it go downhill? |

| I hope they will do it right this time. S1 was good dont get me wrong but it has so many flaws not because of source but because of the adaptation. |

I probably would have more appreciation towards Overlord if it wasn't some gamer trapped in a game and instead, it was a legitimate ruler. |

I just don't see the sense, the producers must be going mad since they haven't produced anything note worthy in what seems like forever. Not saying I disliked the first season of overlord, it was actually pretty good. |
