| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- They way they are describing the Impure King really made it sound like he's capable of destroying everything. I think the apologies are a bit late now that the Impure King is revived. Mamushi Hojo should of really known better than be manipulated. They adapted chapter 26 pretty well. The part where they plan to save Rin from execution and Shiemi embracing Rin with an apology were highlights imo this episode. Even Bon came to save him! :D |

| Such a place to hide the sword. Cannot get sword out from fear? He's going to get punished... Devil principal appearing. The teacher asked his friends to get him out. Pink hair guy is the last one who joined the escape team. Wow, iron door that talks. It stopped everyone who has weapon. That means the weakest and kindest friend, Hanazawa-san's character, is the only who can open it. It seems like by adding that iron door, it creates another space that the person being locked cannot escape. Warm fire? The two guys who argued somehow made up, by talking over. 26:56 next. |

| This is getting better and better. Rin and Shiemi were amazing, it reminds me of the first half of Ao no Exorcist where it was just character introductions and interactions. That was the best part of season 1 IMO. Jyugo worrying over Mamushi was nice to see as well. The whole group is back together again and Bon revealing his reason for being mad at Rin was also surprising, but very good from his side. |
| Really nice setup episode for the big battle to come ahead I gotta say that especially loved the parts where Shiemi went to save Rin etc and then finding out the reason why Suguro was mad at Rin...I honestly did not expect that from him and it really makes me gain more respect for his character Seeing Mamushi and everything she did made me mad, like honestly FUCK HER and I hope that she gets locked up or something.....Great episode overall though P.S. I'm dying at how Mephisto decided to sit back, relax and watch this entire battle play out instead of helping xDD |
| Nice episode. Poor Rin has lost faith in himself, can't wait for him to bounce back completely and draw that sword. It's gonna be epic. Mamushi has finally come around and seen the error of her ways, glad to see Juzo caring for her as well. I totally want one of those invisibility cloaks, have since Harry Potter. XD Shiemi busting Rin out of the prison was awesome and the reunion with everyone put a smile on my face. :) Let's go team! Burn that Impure King. |

| Best Episode so far, the build up was really great, that scene with Rin and Shiemi sure was the highlight of this episode, can't wait for next episode! I wonder how would Bon react when he sees what happened with his Dad |

| Finally! I think this episode was nice, the plot is getting intense and we finally get to see Rin back on action. I enjoyed seeing Mephisto again. LOL Shiemi being useless actually made her useful I hope the final episodes don't disappoint and make all this slow buildup worth it. |
| Mephisto's reappearence was glorious, I swear. For a guy who pass the 97% of his screentime saying how interesting things will be while he eats some sweets, he is seriously amusing. It must be Kamiya's magic. And finally, the group finally reconciliates with Rin. Like someone has pointed above, pretty damn ironic Shiemi being useless was what actually saved the day here. And it turns Ryuji's reason to be angry with Rin weren't the one people expected... I honestly didn't saw that coming. Now it's time to beat the shit out the Impure King. |

| Rin: *runs through the city of Kyoto, which is somehow completely deserted, with an actual sword* That was a touching episode, so weird to hear Rin being so depressed since usually nothing gets him down. I have the same to say to Suguro as Shiemi: Can you blame him for keeping a secret when you see how poorly the reaction to it was? Use your head for like 2 seconds smh. Not sure where all these people who expected fights in every episode came from. It was pretty clear from the arc name that there's only going to be one major fight. |
| its also interesting to see that the blue flames of Rin follows his emotional state like in this episode Rin feels protective of his friends thats why he is considering suicide and the blue flames did not hurt Shiemi at all |

| Best episode so far in this season. Mephisto scenes always bring a lot of fun lol. Rin x Shiemi moments was really nice! Shiemi is the MVP for this episode. The group is now back in action. I hope it gets better and better for later episodes. |

| This was a nice bit of character development and all, but it really felt like a delaying tactic as much as anything else. Oh well, it seems to have paid off so far, so in that sense it doesn't especially matter I suppose. |
| Full build-up episode, thought at first that the prisoning stuff was forced, but in the end i think it was needed for Rin's progression. Even after all this couldn't care less about Shiemi and i'm surprised why i even liked her in the first season. |

| I teared up a bit watching Rin & Shiemi's scene, it was such a cute moment, even though I don't really like her. Suguro finally revealed his reason for being mad at Rin, and the group finally back together <3 And Juzo x Mamushi ship slowly leaving the port! My favourite ship in this season. :3 |

| I lament the fact that there was, finally, a small parenthesis to Shiemi and Rin, only, I wanted it to be much more dynamic narrative rhythm, in that situation, and less obvious in its contents. Fortunately, to make it less boring narration, we think a little all the characters; very funny older brother of Shima. XD The way I see it, between Juzo and Mamushi, there is the tender. They will marry almost certainly. |
