Math teacher in HS has DBZ action figures on his desk and one of those Inuyasha scrolls hung up on the wall of his classroom. Also has a Street Fighter arcade machine in the corner where I got my ass beat

My Revenue Management / Event Management teacher at uni has Death Note and Bleach tattoos that I could've seen apparently she has like 15 tattoos and she loves and still watches anime apparently. She's the coolest teacher.

Is she cute? Do you have pics of this? You know, for science and all. As a university student I'm sure you understand the value of... um... science...

(I'm kidding, but seriously, how was the cosplay? I'd be impressed if she managed to find the time to teach, do all the outside-of-work-hours things teachers need to do, and make a kickass cosplay all at once tbh, that'd be a real display of stellar time-management skills.)

@Dekuduc I'm not sure who won unfortunately because right after they showed everyone I was off to another panel. She was a Mareep. She had a curly blonde wig and a knee length pale yellow vintage dress which she put a peticoat underneath for extra poof. Then she had her tail, ears and gloves it was a cute well made outfit.

@Inly Haha I'm not one for checking people out but like above her outfit was very cute. It was a simple but attractive Pokemon inspired outfit. No pics unfortunately. She did mention she had a different cosplay for Sunday but I don't remember what she said it was, so she must be pretty good at time management haha.

I study Japanese so most of my teachers have seen anime at some point :> Younger ones were talking about seeing Naruto, slightly older usually went with Ghibli movies, so that's pretty cool.

I'm not a weeb, but I am a college professor that likes anime. I know of one other prof at my college who is kind of a weeb, and also know a Star Trek geek on the faculty. One of my best friends/work colleagues is a professor who has watched some anime but is more a comic book/Lord of the Rings geek. Yes, there are geeks in academia!

I had a teacher with DBZ posters in his classroom.

Yeah... One of my professors in college is both an otaku and a gamer. He's humming a song whenever he walks around while we do something in the computer lab. And based on the rumors with my fellow classmates, his laptop and on his FB feed, he's a fan of Durarara!!! and maybe OreGairu (he has a profile pic of Hachiman both in his laptop profile pic and his FB profile pic). Also, he's also a big fan of Pokemon so to speak.

Bad news there is that, he's bipolar so there's only few of my classmate has the dare to speak to him. (Mostly has the same taste as the prof. But not me though because I don't want to be labelled as a "sucker" to the professors)
If God exists, then he should try extending my deadline right now!

My Animation teacher. We talked about Ergo Proxy back in then. Let me do whatever I wanted for projects so long as they were related to animation. Also met my Fiance in that class. Best elective ever.

Yes. My 9th grade history teacher was a major weeb. No one would've guessed though. He was mid 30s, a tall, strong man with an intimidating presence. Our classroom was full of stupid kids misbehaving in classes... except that guy's class. One day he was talking to a friend of mine after class, and I joined and asked what were they talking about. The answer? Hentai. For real. And I joined the conversation. And since that day we recommended hentai and other anime, and had fun talking about stupid weeb stuff.

One of my former professors is an anime/videogames fan. We started talking about it after he wasn't teaching me anymore and he knows a lot of stuff about fairly recent games and shows. It's fun to talk to him about it.

Not as far as I'm aware, but I'm going to be a high school teacher(after a nice 6-year long educator's course in college, yay) and I might retain my status as an anime watcher until then if that counts at all.

There might've been a few teachers I knew who watched anime but kept it under wraps. Sad how there's still a juvenile connotation associated with anime.

Well,
I forced my geography teacher to at least watch 3 episodes of SAO and then i'd shut up about anime.

next day he wasn't at school... and the next day he somehow completed it til episode 14.

How is the question? Oh and I made him watch code geass and death note idk if he watches more though.

Not weeb though, but basically all my teachers from middle school and high school have watched anime at some point in their lives, even the elders, because anime was available on tv all the time. I've never thought about it before, but now it would be so bizarre...

It's so sad to think that Catalonia was once a paradise for anime fans lol Tha'ts why I like late 80's and 90's anime better, because they were part of my childhood.
