| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well this episode had more "feels' moments than I had thought. Of course it had background storytelling about Naruto again. Hinata got a bit of background storytelling too along with Neji. I gotta admit though, Naruto and Hinata together really are cute :3 |

| Kinda weird to get a new opening song/video with the amount of episodes they have left. I did like the song and the visuals are great. Especially seeing everyone grown up. Thought this was a pretty good episode. The only thing that irks me is the damn Naruto backstory. You'd think by now we all know Naruto's past after 10+ years. I didn't mind the Hinata's backstory though considering that her story hasn't been overplayed. At least we get to see Naruto and Hinata interact as children, so that's a positive. With the exception of the epilogue. I find it hilarious that they are still releasing fillers after every single arc of the series is completed and all the chapters being adapted. I guess it wouldn't be Naruto Shippuuden without more fillers. I called it a few weeks ago that I was sure they're going to put fillers out after the final arc as a joke. Unfortunately my joke turned out to be true and that they are still releasing fillers. I'm ready for this series to end. As great as the final battle between Naruto vs Sasuke was, I just want to watch the epilogue after 2 years of waiting. Don't end this show with a sour taste in the fan's mouths by putting up fillers. |

There's only a epilogue chapter left, but it won't be adopted anytime soon considering we got quite a bit of those kind of episodes, and after them they'll do the novels. About the episode, really nice music for both new OP and ED. That moment you realize there's no villain in the OP, you know its the end. I cry. |

| I liked the episode. But I wanna point out the fact that this is episode 700 from the whole series and considering the manga has 700 chapters, it means the anime is now +50% filler. Not that it matters, now that the canon story ended. |

| Not a half bad episode. The OP is good and I really like the visuals but I think I preferred the old song more, Baseball ED was nice. Ino in the OP :O, Was she always that attractive? XD Seems like a collection of short stories from the past, Despite being a fairly slow episode, It's actually quite refreshing to see these past events especially after how much has happened over the years. Wonder what point in the timeline the Naruto story took place, He didn't even recognize Sarutobi. The Hinata segment was really nice, Cute interaction between her and Naruto as kids. Wonder if we'll see more. Sasuke and Sakura shorts next episode. Despite actually having liked the episode, I'm still on the side of 'They should have ended the series'. |

| When will this finally end? We are past the end of the manga now, aren't we? They even did a new opening and ending - maybe Naruto will continue forever... This episode seemed that more efford went into making it. But still. I think Naruto would profit from beingt brought to an end already. |

| Honestly, this was a great episode. I hate fillers as much as the next guy, but this one was really good. Great directing and atmosphere. Definitely worth watching, imo. |

| Now that we're pretty much done with canon save for the epilogue, I'm quite interested in seeing how long I can last before dropping this... after all, I wouldn't be surprised if these fillers are gonna continue for another 4 years ^^ |

| I don't care if it is filler since my love for the character is more than what canon cover. Rather than character fighting this is better way to spend time with the character. I love to see what happen in the blank 2 year between The Last that's not covered in Shinden up until the moment Boruto is born. |

| I really wish they could have at the very least adapted the final chapter, and then start this filler stuff. Then again, they probably accounted for the fact that a lot of people would most likely stop watching after seeing the ending, so I'm sure that's why they're delaying the final chapter. |

| Love the new opening and ending (unfortunately the whole episode was dull and bad quality). I don't know why people still complaining when you aleady know that the anime will keep going until they adapt the rest of the hiden novels. Hemmm I don't remember pretty well Naruto the Last But I'm sure that kid Hinata wasn't wearing a mourning kimono when met Naruto with his red scarf (unless that movie one is other meeting). |

| I liked seeing Hinata's and Naruto's interaction. Naruto has always been her major driving force, made her want to become stronger, and I think that's cute. Little Neji made me both smile and my heart ache. I would have loved to see Neji grow older, but unfortunately we can't always get what we want. |

Surprisingly enough I enjoyed the episode and I don't mind the next. I don't know how they did it but I felt the original Naruto feels in this episode. |

| So, the show is ending and they are putting fillers that were shown a "million" episodes ago! I JUST HATED IT! And why is the background so good and the caracters so sucky? -.- PLEASE! JUST FINISH THE SHOW! PLEASE!  |

Also judging by the new opening which reveals content of the older incarnations of the characters, i am guessing the ending is not far off. This might even be the last opening. The novels may even start after the epilogue, but i don't know. |

JUST END IT ALREAD-- Nah, I doubt it's gonna end anytime soon, knowing them it'll prolly go... this ep Naruto.Hinata... next ep, Sasuke.Sakura, next ep etc etc, before they finally end... or get to what Naruto's doing during the 2 years before he becomes Hokage then finally end... or just go into this endless cycle of never ending fillers. Guess I'll never complete this anime. The OP and ED were good though. |
