| I am around 183cm-184cm, I think. Which is basically 6 feet. Tall but not super tall either. Just right. I wish I had reached 187cm but oh well, could be worse. At least I've gotten over 180cm. What about you? |

My doctor told me when I was 12 that I could surpass my older brother, who is 189cm. I won't lie, it disappointed me a bit when I stopped growing at 183-184, but I'm fine with my height. Being over 187cm just seems unpractical unless you play basketball, volleyball or as a goal keeper in football, imo. You know how hard it is for my brother to buy shoes that fit? Yikes. |

For amusement park, when I was younger I could pay less since they thought I was younger xD What's not as funny is when way younger guys randomly try to hit on me in the street, or when people I don't know ask me how I managed for exams I took years before Lol It never happened to me to be asked for ID when buying alcohol though, surprisingly, not that I buy some often. And when I want to catch high things in shops, people come help me by themselves xD |

| I'm 5'6"/5'7", which isn't really that tall, but for some reason I'm usually surrounded by really short people, so I'm always taller than everyone else, and I get comments on being tall practically daily. I don't really care about my height that much, but sometimes I get jealous because short girls are so cute. |

From my observation, the average guy under 30 here seems to fall somewhere in the 175-180 range. But it's not like it's rare or anything for me to run into dudes who are taller than me. | Height is not important. It's hard for me to even say that there are really advantages and disadvantages, because they are so small and unimportant. This is my opinion, so I am sorry if you are more troubled by your height. I am 5'0 - 5'1, depending on who checks my height. I am 19 years old and have been this height for at least 5 years, so I doubt I'll get any taller. It's difficult for me to say it's inconvenient, but I suppose that is the best word for it. I have to stand on my tip toes to see out the peep hole. My pants are always too long for me. Sometimes I cannot reach things on the top shelf. But these are all minor problems, and while it would theoretically be nice to be a few inches taller, it is not one of my greatest desires. I might act like I would love it at times, but it's not really a big deal when I really think about it. I have only been offended by a height reference once. I was about 14 and an adult man looked at me and said in a disgusted way, "What are you, 4 feet tall?" He said it as if it were my fault, and it shocked me, but I know it doesn't really matter. I am just a person and if you pick a handful of people, they will all be different heights. Unless you are so tall or short that daily tasks are very difficult for you, you shouldn't worry about it. It's just who you are. Don't worry or dread over it. You are awesome :D. |
