| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That soundtrack! We got Guts in action this episode who fights without breaking a sweat. I thought the sex scene was really awkward because of the CGI though between Jerome and Luca. Her relationship with Casca/Elaine is pretty much the same as the manga so that's faithful there. About 4-5+ chapters adapted, pacing feels similar to the previous episode. |

| Hai Yo is just so awesome and it always works with any Berserk scene. That song needs to be in every episode. And no censorship for the violence either (thank god). And we get Isidoro in this episode and he sounds pretty good (though I wanted a younger sounding voice)! Mozgus's torture chamber was handled pretty well (minus the nudity censorship). Next episode we're gonna get a rave party Berserk-style... |

| Very faithful episode. Though I still dislike part of the CG bits. As usual some gorgeous 2D moments (and even some good 3D moments), and that insert music during fights... Well I said I would come to a verdict about whether to keep watching after episode 5... I will keep watching since it still honors Berserk, although in not the most optimal way. Its still Berserk, feels Berserk, and its enjoyable to fans. |
| That was a good episode, Fairly faithful to the manga. The Mozgus torture chamber did have a real gruesome feel to it, I guess they succeeded with that. In fact I think they're capturing the whole religious/heretic atmosphere quite well. The scene with the blond girl (forgot her name) throwing the stone on the heretic after being intimidated by the crowd was done pretty well imo. Laughed at the way Puck caught Isidoro, Puck ftw. The soundtrack is great, Guts fighting is badass as always. The wheel demons remind me of Dark Souls xD |

| Damn shit is tight in the Holy See camp, the torture room scene was done really well. We got some more Luca stuff as well, was nice, but the sex in CGI just looks awkward. Nice seeing Kushans and that guy with 4 bodyguards again. |

| Episode was really fateful to manga. CGI and music continues to be atrocious most of the time... But they had Sawashiro Myuiki doing a scene with an sexy voice; so I'm more than freaking happy with this episode =x |

| This series is so great. Guts is so badass. Just have one problem is they used CGI for this anime. If Berserk 2016 used a regular art like its previous series, it would be the best. |

| Hai Yo is gonna be ruined by the time this show ends. Due to the soundtrack barely having any good music (or any music at all), they just keep replaying that song because it's all they have. As good as the song is, if they keep reusing it it'll lose its luster. And in this episode they used it far too much and with other sounds layered over it to make it seem different when it just sounded cluttered. Susumu Hirasawa only wrote one song for this show, lets not ruin it. |

| Faithful to a point where the pacing is getting pretty slow, but honestly I expected as much. The direction over-all seems a bit better, the difference between the CG and 2D when they're on the screen at the same time is a bit unsettling. Really good episode though! |

| They really need to decide ether use full 3D or 2D the moment when you see one face being animated in 2D the one in the background is in 3D it's totally jarring and it just looks bad but story vise it's getting a lot better then the first few episodes |

| Ugh.. the more they transition from hand drawn to CG again, the more I notice how static and shallow the CG is. It was especially noticeable in this episode :/ It'll be interesting to see what will happen to Casca/Ellen now that it seems that undead will attack... I doubt she'll get her sanity back and go nuts, but we'll see I guess. |

| I feel the episodes are continuing to improve as they move past points where things need to be heavily condensed or outright skipped. This episode was pretty solid from start to finish. Visuals aside obviously. |

| Step up for this series, but nonetheless not good. More 2D which is great, but the animation itself is still crap (3D aside). Directing is GOD AWFUL, doin' barrel rolls n shit. But, on the whole, a definite step up for this adaptation. Particularly liked Mozgus this episode. |

| By far the best episode so far, which is shocking considering I felt that the series was getting worse since the first one. The directing was tight, pacing was great, sound design was much improved since the last episode and while the CG still looked dodgy in parts, the quality of everything else distracted from it. Hopefully we'll see more episodes like this one and less of the others. |

| Wel... the action scene is not so bad this time and they did a great job for the torture chamber. It's just as scary as it needs to be... Starting to see a glimmer of hope for this adaptation. Just a glimmer. |

| Contrary to most people I find that CGI were really made for those gore scenes. Every episode feels like a short 3min to me, can't wait for next the one. Looking at the score distribution for this awesome series really proved why people can't have nice things. |

| This episode was really awesome, aside from the weird sex scene without niples (should be fixed in the BD release, tho). Guts vs the scouts was amazing, even the 3D animation looked really good there. The quality of the episodes is clearly improving over the course of the series. |

| I really hope this anime goes beyond tower of conviction and until meeting Schierke & the trolls. Thankfully the signs are there that we will reach that part of the story (due to how quick its moving forward). I feel maybe the tower of conviction big fight will be over in next 3 episodes. |
