| Well. I certainly was expecting the high pitched dude's death since someone had to die to set an example of the little bands. Aoi had the death flag on her ever since they went into the room and she was worried and the emotional music came in, but I really didn't want to believe she'd be killed off, but she did. Poor girl, she had so much hope. Tbh I'm expecting the traitor to be the bull dude but I think that'd be too predictable. |

| Ok, it was obviously going to happen the way the episode was set up but... This is bullshit. I can't believe this happened. This is the worst anime I've ever seen in my whole life and the creator of this show is someone filled with despair. Heck, they're probably real life Junko mixed with Toko. Jokes aside, I'm really f***ing sad with my favorite character dying 2 EPISODES IN. Recurring characters that lack plot armor always die. If by the end of this show Kirigiri and Hiro are still alive I'm going to be really damn mad. One has a stupid plot armor that doesn't seem to end and the other I have no idea why is still alive. The killer probably chose to kill Aoi to try to frame Makoto though. The killer could be the Usami girl since the hat guy could have foreshowed that but it's most likely not the Great Gozu guy. Then again, this is Danganronpa so I guess we'll see next episode... |
| Asahina was favourite charachter of this many people yet she wasnt even clever. I was sad too but i had time to absorb it. I mean two chick died at first 2 days... bad start. |

The bull guy saw Naegi and knew he was good, but what excuse does she have? Naegi is definitely in deep shit if they see him with her blood on his hands. |

| Damn it, of course they kill off one of the best characters across both games right away :( Naegi saying "my luck will rub off on you" was such a death flag but I still blindly hoped she'd live... where's my ultimate luck when I need it? I hope all the OP scenes don't actually show people who die and how they die because that will totally kill the suspense. Asahina's was taken right from it |

| They're playing Werewolf? They're seriously playing Werewolf this time? I'm so here for that. And damn super cartoony man did not last very long. These bracelet conditions are going to be an interesting story telling mechanic. I'm kind of pissed Aoi is dead man. She survived a 30 hour game (maybe a conservative or way over estimate from person to person). And she was super cute in this episode. I liked her carrying Makoto around. And they're conversation about being able to trust each other was really nice. Just feels really early to be killing her off. The despairs starting to get to me. |

That's sad, I thought she would have plot armour but this starts to make sense since she didn't appear in DR2 alongside Kyouko, Byakuya and Naegi, which means the fortune teller guy who's name I've forgotten and Fukawa/Genocide Jack (where the hell are they anyway) are either dead or something else... nah, Fukawa won't get herself killed... she won't. - Monokuma sounds different. - Monomi's an actual person talking through an avatar?! Hah! That's clever! - Kinda glad the farmer died sooner than I hoped, I don't think I would've gotten used to his voice inside that body. - Liking the new forbidden action rule, i wonder if class trials will make an appearance, Monokuma didn't mention it but I'm pretty sure it'll appear since this won't be DR without truth bullets, then again, no pink blood so I dunno. It's like they are repeating DR1 with someone close to Naegi dying first. |

| Finished the second future arc episode -I like that they are continuing with the *announcing things that were big last time from the beginning* theme,first with the loss of memory in DR2 and now with the TV airing here XD -so now that we also have killing rules and all that,might i ask again why the heck they didnt make the future arc a game instead? seriously,there are no differences other than the court system's absence >_> -and now we supposedly have our first major clue to monokuma's identity: it is certainly someone with intimate knowledge of what happened in DR2,as he wouldnt have known the "Usami becoming Monomi due to Junko's AI" matter otherwise. now,the ones we do know that know about what happened are: --the 6 DR1 survivors. --the 5/6/15 DR2 survivors (depending on if mikan actually went in a coma or not and on if they found a way to wake the rest up or not). --most likely Monaca,as due to her Nagito alliance it is reasonable that they could have found a way for her to see what will happen on the island. out of these monaca is most likely. however,it is pretty likely too that someone else learned about the events somehow,and there is also the unresolved matter of Junko's second AI chip from DR:AE's end. so there are too many suspects to even be suspicious of any specific person being behind it -so how are the windows blocked exactly? because i am pretty certain that during the shortwhile that they were asleep in they couldnt have been blocked to the degree that they are impenetrable by the ultimate wrestler/boxer combo. minor plothole right here >_>. -have to give them credit though,the "banned action" idea is a great one. it adds a new layer to the proceedings and opens a lot of possibilities -speaking of which,the farmer's death was both shocking(which was obviously the goal) and ASTONISHINGLY stupid. the farmer is a huge dude,so if he read his banned action then any shred of common sense would make him stop the building fight at any cost,and if he didnt then it is still astonishingly stupid because who wouldnt check his banned action immediately after he learns that he will die if it happens?!! so either way it was shockingly stupid. not a plothole though,as unfortunately there are people that stupid >_> -speaking of stupid,the "do a random vote now with an obvious result" idea is one of the stupidest i have ever heard. i know the supposed reasoning is that he broke following her death,but i think there is more to it than that. personally,that guy is my number one suspect right now,but even that i think might be a bit too obvious so i am not 100% certain why he actually did it -so,why the hell didnt kirigiri follow them and help Naegi? honestly,i extremely disliked kirigiri since she without a care in the world let naegi die after all that he did for her in DR chapter 5. seeing her not follow him makes that dislike intensify again.backstabbing b**** >:( -i am liking the wrestler even more than i already did! i am starting to wonder if his banned action is "not standing against unjust actions" or something though. also,now THAT is an elbow drop the macho man randy savage would be proud of XD -the president not chasing them increases the possibility of him being the traitor (he knows where they are and thus could have killed Aoi),but there is also a chance of his banned action having something to do with locked doors thus he couldnt chase them. -so i first thought the wrestler will die first because he raised a "Byakuya V2 will not let anyone die" flag. however,after the Naegi-Aoi conversation i was like "crap. that is a death flag if i ever saw one". and indeed. poor Aoi :'( -there are multiple red herrings about the wrestler. he is most likely innocent. the killer likely came and went via the airducts. overall,not that impressed with Future episode 2 either :/ |

| Noooooooo! Aoi!!!!!!! Damnit, and I guess this series is canon as well, which sucks. Not many of the characters are very likeable, although I am interested to see them in action. Or at least I would be if they didn't keep killing them all off. I had a hunch that bull-man would be the killer, he seemed far to trustworthy. Now, I don't know for sure that he's guilty, but I wouldn't be surprised. |
| Trying not to type much on this watch because I'm recovering or at least trying to recover from some health issues but I just wanted to say I'm having a blast! The Despair arc is filled with intrigue due to the first episode of Future and due to the events the game hints at, especially with the murder game trial and Chiaki!! And this one is just such a frantic and chaotic game. Anime weapons and fights, factions being formed asap, mafia with added quirks in the specific person-to-person rules it carries but still holding the totally mafia set up of 'sleep, now killer wake up!' its a blast. But the main thing I wanted to say was that realizing my favorite boy Hiro was in danger gave me a heart attack. I was so happy to see him again with his more mature but continuously free-spirited look. However, realizing that some of the original cast had to die hit me and realizing that made me double realize that its likely that he'll die! I thought he won and got out scot-free! If he dies my heart would break. Luckily, Byakuya, Toko, and Hiro don't seem to be here. Those three are my favorites and they, assuming Hiro didn't get crushed during the attack, could play a savior role in the story rather than an at-risk and active one. Kyoko and Makoto dying would feel a little bad because I've spent so much time with them now, but like with Hina's death, it's something that I can live with. I presume none of this trio will make me emotional if they fall. It's just a shame because Hina never felt as sexy or insecure or dumb or energetic or quirky as she did in the games during the anime series, this one or the last. I was hoping that we'd see their best in anime form but she's already dropped. |

| Are you fucking kidding me... Asahina died? And early as well. I was so glad she actually surived the first game. Who writes stuff like that. First that really shitty "plot-twist" at the end of Danganronpa V3 and then they do this in the conclusion to Game 1 and 2... I should have called it quits after Danganronpa 2 and lived with the missing conclusion -.- Fucking Spike Chunsoft man... On a sidenote - anyone else bothered that they didn't censor the blood in this ridiculous way that is basically a characteristic of the franchise by now? |
