| Even though some parts were predictable, it was still enjoyable to watch~ I love how the comedy takes the viewers away from how messed up Dazai really is. The dude keeps trying to kill himself. And we don't even know why. Yet, there he is trying to make fun/light of the situation when he fails to do so. I'm pretty sure he's not doing that just for fun. There's definitely something underneath that "playful, suicidal idiot" mask. (Well, he is based on the real Osamu Dazai who failed to commit suicide many times.. though he eventually succeeded in the end.) I can't wait for his back story. I really like Atsushi and his seiyuu did well voicing him, especially during the worthless act lol. Hosoyan (Kunikida) and Mamo-chan (Dazai) seiyuu pair, in an anime, is too good to be true ;w; ED visuals were nice~ |
| Hahaha great episode :D I had a feeling that it was just a test to see what he would do. Dazai is so cool xD It's so funny that he is always searching for ways to suicide ahaaha Still he is a nice guy. This anime is actually very good and i'm enjoying it a lot. |

| Slightly skeptical of this anime because I feel like they're gonna try to mix the comedy/seriousness too strongly, and when they have an actual serious moment it's gonna be difficult to take it seriously... But it's still entertaining. |

| Great episode. Lots of fun, as I expected. I love the tone this show has, intense but silly and fun. I can't wait to see more of this world and more new characters. |

| Read the manga after the second episode so I knew what was happening. I rather enjoy the comedy! It gets darker later but perhaps in the second cour? |

| How can anyone complain about this beautiful comedy? It puzzles me... Dazai just keeps making me laugh! He and Kunikida have such good chemistry. And Atsushi is doing a great job playing the straight man. Besides, if this was a purely serious anime, I think it would get a little boring. |

| I really get a kick out of Dazai's trying to kill himself, as well as his general antics. Maybe I just love characters who can't take themselves seriously and make life their game. How can you not love this irritatingly cheeky bastard who cheerfully attempts to off himself on a daily basis though |

| This episode was so horrendously bad that I couldn't even get past the halfway point. Dazai's running gag with him trying to off himself is honestly borderline offensive. It's not like you can't make a funny character out of someone who wants to die, Henry from Fire Emblem Awakening wants to die the bloodiest death ever and it's way more tasteful than Dazai will ever be. The main character is so fucking whiny and annoying, I mean, you can't just have a cast of "eccentric" characters and assume they will be fun to watch. Most of the time, this show bores me to tears, but a few times it straight up pissed me off. After that stupid rock-paper-scissors joke, I shut it off cause I just couldn't take it anymore. I'll finish the episode another day and I'll wrap up my thoughts, but holy shit I haven't been so disappointed for a series in a long time. |
| Heheh, pretty good this week too. I was so into the episode I didn't anticipate that it was only a Dazai's "test". But yeah, Dazai's my favorite right now too :D I relate how he says stuff out and the cheerful way of doing things - although the suicide thing isn't imo so great, it makes for some great dark-ish humor. ALSO gotta love the way Miyano plays out with this voice acting, reminds me of the great Hououin Kyouma :D |

You'd think they would watch the trailer(s) or read a bit of the manga. Well, I guess some of them will appreciate the next episode when there is some violence. The comedy is here to stay though more or less. Idk, I don't see how this is less funny than Kill la Kill, Steins;Gate or any other popular comedy show. |

| The president looked younger than I imagined. The plot seemed a bit too elaborate for it to be perfectly orchestrated the way it was. Glasses dude showing his ability was cool, albeit unnecessary to getting the MC to "pass the test". Last part of the episode was interesting with a brief glimpse of two yet-to-be-introduced characters. |
| Another great episode. I miss shows like this. Thank God they moved on from those cheesy VN adaptations. Also the wincest. ;] |

In my case , i went to watch the show with no expectations . So getting comedy instead of something serious was no problem . And i stated that i actually liked the comedy and dazai makes it even better ... |

Also cant get enough of that ending, its just so beautifull with my top three fav characters! 1º Dazai 2º Atsushi 3º Akutagawa This is to me the best anime of this season!! |

| Fortunately, this anime series, goes back on its feet with this episode. While not 100% convincing storytelling, compared to the previous year, there was a recovery even if there is no one that I expect from these souls, or the action. Excellent designs and animations are fluid, fun in certain situations the narrative. |
