I'll have to eat my own words. That series fell apart after the first half.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I just notice your message.

Too much notification in the forum and I miss your comment. xD

On hindsight, it's probably not a good idea to describe anime using that dichotomy because there are plenty of shows that manage to have both 'plot-driven characters' and 'character-driven' plot.

What I meant was that if a series isn't able to be engaging without its plot moving forward, then its plot needs to move forward. In the case of Kiznaiver, three entire episodes were spent merely introducing the premise and characters, they had deliberately had any changes in their relationships forcibly stalled thanks to sloppy writing, and it gave every indication by that point that the plot was already devolved into a 'monster of the week' series, except instead it was a 'source of pain of the week'.

For a counter-example, a series like Tanaka-kun can get away without having a plot, because it manages to at least be routinely funny.

Of course not.
In fact I'm gonna watch it when I'm done with one of NGE or TTGL.

Well , I just started watching anime from last year. And I do all the discussions just for fun. Nothing serious there :3

Watched all episodes twice for the mistake listing and I just like to others getting butthurt. :D There might be a next victim next season depending on my mood.
