And there is Excalibur arc too... |

| I laughed sooo hard when the atmosphere was so serious and than I saw Sougo with a lighter (first thing that came to my mind was that it would look kinda weird if he did it normally and maybe awake some shippers but damn it was just Gintamalike and it was priceles) Another funny scene was again heavy atmosphere in hospital, Gin actually saying something deep and than Sarutobi jumps out of the covers hahah (living her dream XD) Shigeshige! I'm not gonna lie... I was at the verge of tearing up, my eyes we so blurry but than I saw him being alright later and thought they fixed him up so I thought, why not leave a comment and than I come here reading all of your comments and realize that he really is dead and with ED still playing in the background, that was the breaking point XD |

| Rip Shigeshige. Can't help but feel that the ED song was a little too cheery for that final moment. Overall a very good arc, but I don't think I can call it one of my favorite Gintama arcs for some reason. |
| Mmmm this last episode was a little meh. I expected something else. It felt underwhelming. Anyway the arc deserves an overall 8.5 'coz Zenzo and Takasugi should've died. The first one with Takasugi and the second with Oboro's intervention. Ps. Don't write down even the initials from next arc please. It's an easy hint |

| Looks like we're at the point of no return. I'm expecting the comedy aspect of Gintama to severely lessen now. But man, what an arc. The ending itself was just, wow. Amazingly done. RIP Shogun. |

| Come on, one last time for posterity : SHOOOOGUN-KAYOOOOOO!!! :'( Farewell to one of the most awesome character of Gintama. May your soul rest in peace and stay far away from Gintoki bad luck. Hijitaka should have expected that lighter prank. Can't trust the sadist. Sachan hiding in Gintoki bed was hilarious. So, is the kid with blue hair Nobume? He/she looked a lot like her. I can't remember if they described her background in earlier episodes though. Anyway, it will be nice to see what will happen now. I can hardly see a return of comedy episode. Even Gintoki was super serious at the end. |

| I thought the fact that i alredy read the manga would make me Invulnerable to the feels in this chapter, but it actually made it even more sad, when Shige shige was saying his goodbyes and making promises, i just knew they wouldnt be completed e_e Also, seeing that the next arc is the Farewell Shinsengumi Arc, which is the logical option as far as the manga goes adn the story in general, but it makes you wonder if they are ever gonna adapt the comedy/semi-serious chapters they skipped. |

| Never expected Gintama to kill anyone off to be honest. A bit surprised we're jumping right into a new arc next week too. Usually there's a cool down period but I guess not anymore. |
| Best arc I've ever seen, watching episode 305 is literally the best experience I've ever had. I was crying heaps at the end, I was hoping his sister wouldn't be there when he died but she was, that ending scene of her just patting his head thinking he was sleeping killed me. This episode was beautiful though, it had moments that made me laugh my ass off (like Sougo trolling Hijikata), moments that had me cry heaps (like the death of Shige Shige) and some moments had me crying at the same time as laughing (like Gintoki offering the Jump issue to Zenzou). They could still go back to comedy but nope. Next serious arc starts in a week... I don't know whether I should be happy or not. The budget may go down heaps low. |

| TBH anime vieweres only were kinda lucky, us manga readers read this on X-mas, release date of Shogun dying was dec 25 2014 so yeah I was quite sad during that xmas. |
