RIP Iphone

The analysis of the butterfly was somewhat interesting. Really though, Kazunori imo is not to be underestimated. The success rate of that surgery though..

Quite some serious stuff with the 40% success rate of the surgery and possibly someone being poisoned. Enjoyable episode and I look forward to see how they handle this.

Wow wow wow, this escalated very quickly. So this guy is a total scumbag and a real criminal. And Uesugi is undergoing vision difficulties.

Somehow I feel. I so very very feel that when KZ gets proof on this guy and rescues whoever hostage is under Kazunori's hold, that said individual is gonna be a doctor, and said doctor is gonna treat Uesugi.

I have no idea why people are finding this interesting ( ._.)
So Wakatake you are telling me that Kuroki is a badass just because he skipped smh tbh fam.

What kind of middle school going children can find out about a butterfly from a part of it's wing.
Uesegi's problem justification is another great anime logic. He has an eye problem where he can't see the no.s ( I am pretty sure that is unrealistic but who cares) and his surgery rate is 0.4. top kek stuff.
I don't know why people write that they are approachable persons,
if you were you wouldn't be on MAL.

If you don't know, then you shouldn't speak. Those illnesses DO exist. And he believes him a badass, because of his composure, not just the "imma skip this". Are you really watching the episodes?

Creying for Uesugi, these kids anime always end up having some of the most serious issues for their characters.

Oh man who knew that's what Uesugi is going through!!! D: Poor kid. I thought it might've been family troubles as with most slice of life type of stories, but dang it's literally his problem, and a problem he can't control. It was very nice of him to drop off the math book/notes for Aaya, though I guess he did it because he's fond of her? I was surprised when he said, "tenshi-san" at the end. Also surprised that no one commented on that. It sort of felt like it came out of nowhere.

But since this a children's anime, I can't see it ending badly for Uesugi, he'll definitely make it through the surgery, right? (I say this but then I remember the semi-sad ending with Sunahara...)

Dang that Takane is really up to no good huh. He steps on Wakatake's phone. Proceeds to tell him don't underestimate adults. Wow, adults are so powerful =_= This dude is wack and needs to get caught by the police.

I think it's pretty obvious that Uesugi (along with Wakatake and Kuroki) likes Aaya, and his "tenshi" remark was out of the gratitude he felt for her. Either that, or they wanted the make the scene a bit dramatic.

I may be a horrible person (well, I actually am), but couldn't help laughing when she started tearing up. Maybe because a lot happening all of a sudden without any merit to any of the events, which led the show to became (almost) comical.

True, I mean I know KZ is pretty much Aaya's harem, but I guess I just felt that there's been almost no build up on that romantic interest aspect. And you're right, Uesugi probably said that out of gratitude :)

I didn't laugh when she started tearing up, but I didn't feel anything when she did. There are definitely parts about this show that does make me laugh though, I think it's just because of poor transition into scenes or just the way the events feel so abrupt (as you mentioned). It's definitely not a well directed show, and the writing could be better. For some reason though, I still like watching it.

edit:
Wow just checked the two script writers and hmm...they've written scripts for a lot series I've like, albeit, most of them are adaptations, only two or three titles I liked were originals. But still, they've both worked on some great stuff.

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing a well handled reverse harem with romantic subplot, even if it's with little kids. Perhaps, the project staff thought it wouldn't fit the theme for a children anime? But if that's so, why even bother putting forth the concept in the first place?

You're correct about this being a poorly directed show. Just noticed that the director is in charge of another short anime this season, Monster Strike, which has been a lot more enjoyable. You might wanna give it a look. :3

At this point, I'm only hoping for Sunahara to drop by and stay. The episodes he were in weren't half bad. Hell, I'd watch a second season if he were to show up.

Yeah me neither, the characters are cute :P I guess kids like to see romance undertones but not full blown romance? Idk.

I'll take a look at Monster Strike, I definitely overlooked it when this season started. Thanks for the rec!

And yeah, I really want Sunahara back, I've like him best ever since he showed up. I really thought he would join KZ but he ended up disappearing. Well Aaya has his number, so it's not like there isn't a possibility of him coming back.

Wait but can't they just take the sim card out of the phone for the data? I'm not well-versed on smartphones/iphones or whatever, but I think at least with my Android phone thingy (which I received recently, so pardon the lack of knowledge) even if you stepped on it like that, you'd be able to take out the sim card and just put it into another phone or something, right? o:

I feel like there's a way for them to get the data off the phone one way or another, right? I mean, they seem to have the tools to do just about anything else...

Why does this episode have to be so sad as well?
(I didn't sign up for heartbreak when I started watching this. lol i thought this was just some lighthearted, innocent mystery children's anime. XD
Surprisingly the anime that has made me the saddest so far this year.)

I was sure he had problems with his eyes, let's hope that the surgery will be successful.
The case is getting interesting.
