It seems like you are putting words on my mouth and taking things out of context, if you have some reading comprehension then you'll see that I was labeling old school anime elitists as those assholes who usually thinks 80s, 90s anime as superior to newer ones, you'll be lying to yourself if you think those types of people didn't exist especially with the amount of threads on MAL with the purpose how newer anime is getting worse.
