Good favourite, Rice Shower was very cute. I'd like Daiwa Scarlet to get more screen time :D
Even though you have a Blue Archive avatar? XD Same though. I remember the Uma Musume game was delayed and the anime got released first. Unlike most game adaptations we often see. I don't play other gacha games either though I did play Genshin for a while.

S1 was already pretty solid to me. But S2 surpassed it because as you say, better groundwork and the story it had to share. Also with Teio being one of my favourite characters in the franchise, I was so happy when the season first got announced.

Still not as much as some of the other series we've talked about :)

Oh yes, Uma Musume S2 was amazing. I think that surprised a lot of people. It was my favourite anime of that season. Haven't watched any of the Initial D anime myself but I've seen good things about it and yeah, the Eurobeat XD

I guess I am most looking forward to:

- Spy x Family Season 2
- Kanojo mo Kanojo Season 2
- Uma Musume: Pretty Derby Season 3

Enjoyed the previous seasons for all of these so I am sure they will be a good time.

Also looking forward to seeing Kibou no Chikara: Otona Precure '23 as I liked Yes! Precure 5 and its characters. Seeing them as adults should be interesting and it's also something the Precure franchise hasn't done before.

As for non-sequels, I am most curious about Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki no Monmon but I have no idea whether I'll actually like it or not. Just noticed the MAL page now has a banner, wow.

Yup, as someone who mostly watches seasonals these days, it feels great to go with something different once in a while. Almost every season, I think I should watch less so I have more time for older shows. But then I end up picking up a bunch of stuff I never planned to anyway haha. Which I did this season, and the shows I originally was going to skip turned out better than those I was actually looking forward to lol.

Your experience with Aikatsu is kinda like my experience with PriPara haha. Watched it in just over a month and caught up to Idol Time, which was still airing, then followed it almost every week. Mostly same for PriChan until I started feeling burned out from anime probably.
Nice, same here. I think I should try watching more genres I am less familiar with, especially when it comes to older titles. There's still many of what would be considered classics that I haven't seen and I am somewhat interested in them. But yeah, so much out there including seasonals to keep up with XD

I see. Yeah I agree they both have their strong points. Took me a few years to get through OGkatsu as I kept putting it on-hold. I currently have Stars on-hold, which I may or may not get back to lol. I do like what I've seen though. It's just finding the motivation I guess.
I watch quite a few genres of anime but most of it is probably Slice of Life and romcoms. With that image of Karin as your avatar, I thought you were an ecchi enjoyer :3

Nice. I didn't enjoy Aikatsu as much as the Pretty series but I think most people like it more.

Ah I see. I started with PriPara, which is very different to Pretty Rhythm, so you may or may not like it. There is also Kiratto PriChan after that and then Waccha PriMagi XD
Aurora Dream was hard for me to get into at first. I liked it a lot more after the first 10 episodes or so. But yeah I would still put Rainbow Live above that too.

There's a lot of good songs. Hard to pick a favourite lol. How are you finding Aurora Dream so far?
I've seen mixed views on Nijigasaki. It's not the best for me but I do like that it takes a different approach which made it somewhat refreshing.

Lol true that.

Nico is the reason I got into Love Live, and she will always be the best imo. But I do like what I have seen of Lanzhu so far (I still need to continue watching the Nijigasaki anime haha).
