PM, Tokyo Ghoul and Akame. Cool.
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist.

Good job for One Punch Man. Also nice to see Boku no Hero up there at number 3. Looks like Naruto is still managing to hang in there as well.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

JoJo is #2 and Tokyo Ghoul vol 2 isn't on the list!

The top 3 are the best in the US charts right now, so this is great

*3. My Hero Academia Vol.2

lol it ranked higher than Bleach and One Piece volume 76 (which didn't even rank) in its first week. It doesn't even have an anime.

To be fair though, Bleach and One Piece are over 60 volumes in compared to BnH's 2nd volume......

Doesn't change the fact that both had more exposure in North America compared to this new series.

People are hesitant to buy longer series' volumes, BnH on the other hand is a new series with more potential buyers. That is most likely why.

If websites that contain sales information like ComicChron are any indication, the sales are completely abysmal and utter tripe, to put it lightly. Hardly a thousand a month, if at all. This practically goes for any English-translated manga.

Interesting to note that both Tokyo Ghoul vol.1 and One-Punch Man vol.1 have been on the list pretty much since their respective releases, without ever falling off (21 weeks for TG, 10 for OPM). So the three most titles over there right now (AOT, TG & OPM) are seasonals, and two of them are seinen. 'Murica doesn't like its long running battle shounen anymore?

opm can be considered shounen too, especially since it regularly appears in a ton of shounen magazines.

Nice to see that Jojo is up there I hope to see it again next week. I literally started reading it yesterday and it hasn't disappointed I'm not really surprised by this list. When I saw what was being released to start off November I had a pretty good grasp of what would be at the top. I'm definitely going to pick up one Punch Man volume 3, My Hero Academia volume 2 and Jojo part 2 that's currently what I've got my eyes on.

People these days likes brutal, violence, psychological type of anime/manga and also overpowered main characters. It's like its trending? I've noticed it in the past years. The typical "shounen" type or the "never give up, just do it" type of anime/manga is declining.

With all this seinen dominating the list, I wonder what level of success Berserk will attain in the West when it returns with Volume 38.

If westerners like TG, AkG, and even OPM, it almost seems like a shoe-in for Berserk.

AkG isn't a seinen manga and Berserk manga isn't really that popular in the west.

That was evident. JoJo's bizarre adventure is the only manga featuring vampires, solar powered martial arts, immortal aztec bodybuilders with elemental powers, nazis, cyborgs, Stands, italian gangsters, cowboys, zombies, a cat plant, alleged aliens, protagonists made of plankton , ghosts, golden rectangle-powered martial arts and an "unnamed saint that was born 2015 years ago".
