| Sometimes when a fight goes excessively long with a crazy large amount of episodes which might bore the viewer. Most of the long running battle shounen animes tend to extend these major boss battles to the point of being ridiculous. well, people who have seen a show like DBZ are familiar with that pain. | The Frieza vs Goku battle was 20 chapters long and was adapted into 19 episodes. Naruto vs Tobi lasted like 80 chapters. It started on episode 323 and finished in episode 380 although there were some filler episodes in between (17 of them). |

| You're all saying "don't say dbz", but when I was a kid the cell saga and its fight was the longest thing ever, broadcasting for one whole year (due to also having constant repeats). This is why I hate that saga the most. |

Vegeta, Pride of the Saiyans, Dies". The fight ends at episode 105 "Freeza Defeated!! A Single Blast Packed with a Totality of Rage" thus making it 19 episodes long. I'm hoping that DBZ is recognized for this the same way Sazae- San was for having the most episodes of any tv series. |

| Luffy vs Lucci went on for a while, but there were other things going on outside of the fight, so one probably wouldn't notice how long the fight was. In reality the entire fight could fit 2-3 episodes. But it was going on for over like 10-15 episodes. |
